That is so Fan Myopic, it hurts. Something, anything needs to be there but that.
Agreed.
I've never played...what would that be...that one game that Blizzard is famous for.
So I have no idea what that is.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI didn't either but tooltips offer a lot of insight.
That's the one I was thinking of.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseIt's fairly common in MMOs, really, and not specific to that game.
Still requires you to know what it means, though.
Check out my fanfiction! It means nothing to anyone who doesn't play MMO's. I motion to pull, regardless of a replacement.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Wow. Talk about JAFAAC - pull with or without replacement.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAdding another vote to pull.
As for replacements, I tried looking for screenshots of NP Cs giving quests, but most of them are very wordy, and most likely won't be legible in wiki size - thus rendering the image moot.
Guess it can remain blank for a while
What we want here is less "Giving the player a quest" and more "Hey, there's an exclamation mark over my head, that means I have a quest for you!"
Rhymes with "Protracted."Oh, I get it now. But as much as I like subtle humor, that is rather obtuse. A page image should be easy to figure out.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Wouldn't that pose a similar problem with the current image? I'm not sure everyone will associate the exclamation mark for quest-giving.
The same cap worn by Hideo Kojima would imply something else.
Check out my fanfiction!Yes, I expect it's actually pretty hard.
Rhymes with "Protracted."yeah so I'm guessing something like this would not work◊ because it could mean too many different things.
Looks like a guy in charge of the information of a gaming convention.
If we really need an image, we should just get an actual shot from a game, and not a cosplay prop.
Oh no, I wasn't specifically referring to costumes, just the whole "Attention beacon over my head" deal.
Just which game should we look though, exactly, for brevity's sake?
Maybe one that shows an NPC with an exclamation mark and a dialogue bubble describing a quest? Not sure what game would be good for it.
Check out my fanfiction! If we had the beacon over a character whose quest is visually obvious, like if they're standing dejectedly in front of a broken-down carriage, it might work.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Clock is set.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
I have no idea what I'm looking at.
I don't really have much of an idea how to illustrate this, but maybe a screenshot of an NPC giving a quest?
