I've been following this one. I find the mixture of Zombie Apocalypse and Schoolgirl Series does a lot to make both genres palatable again after they've been so overdone by now
Not really familiar with Norimitsu's portfolio though.
But yeah, Zombie Apocalypse is NOT a genre I'm a fan of, and such filling up a page on it, even for a schoolgirl manga, is difficult.

Okay, page has some tropes now and shouldn't be getting cut
Thanks. All we can do right now until the next release comes really.
The previous chapter with Kiri finding Megu-nee close to the basement shelter has some tragic implications. Very likely that she somehow managed to drag herself there to get the serum before she finally succumbed.
Oh, and added a picture as well. Let's just add in the irony shall we!
I'll go pimp up the page as soon as I find the time to read through it.
May I add that the designs for the girls so far look suspiciously like they were taken (likely ON PURPOSE to add to the dissonance) from other series in Manga Time Kirara? Kii looks like Yuuko from A Channel, while Kurumi looks like Aya from Kiniro Mosaic.
Chapter 21 is out:
That was a bit terrifying, what with Yuki's dream shattering, and her going to remove Kurumi's handcuffs despite there being no confirmation yet that the serum worked. But it did, though Kurumi now seems to have permanent scars to show for her being so close to the brink of zombification.
Yeah, that was interesting. Pretty much the entire chapter was leading up to a disaster that didn't happen
Makes one wonder though just how the government was able to have a vaccine, even an experimental one, as part of a prepared emergency package. That means they've known about this well in advance, maybe even years. Something stinks, and it's not the zombies.
That said, it's likely that this was a really close thing. Kurumi's lucky to be able to escape with just wrinkly skin on one side of her body now.
Gotta wonder how Megu-nee ties in also. She seemed to feel a bit guilty.
I wonder if Yuki is gonna be The Cuckoolander Was Right. She seems to have a good feel for things, even if she doesn't exactly show it.
Uhm, you do realize that in this case, if The Cloud Cuckoo Lander Was Right, wouldn't that mean that the school is haunted by the unquiet spirits of all those zombified there?

So, I read the first chapter. Hoh, this looks like it's going to be a cute series and-
-*reaches that certain page*
....WHAT. THE. HECK?!?!?
I. MUST. CONTINUE!!

Yep, welcome to the thread. That's the usual reaction to the first chapter.
Well, new (translated) chapter!
A Megu-nee chapter again and... Well, it does look like the Government definitely is to blame for the Zombie Apocalypse (kind of scary how specific those details in the emergency manual were).
Oh, and Zombies do retain a twisted sense of self... except since they couldn't express themselves properly anymore, everything just boils down to "must assuage hunger pangs". Megu-nee herself seems to have retained some control, enough to separate herself and shamble over to the underground shelter area.
Then of course, Kurumi wanders in...
Finally got around to catching up.
It seems to me that the school might be a testing ground for a bioweapon (the zombie virus). The students are the guinea pigs...though it might just have been a small group of them. Or maybe that facility was just nearby or something.
Anyway, they shouldn't let Kurumi's saliva get on any wounds or whatever. They don't really know whether she's still carrying the virus, after all. Even if she's not displaying symptoms, she may still be able to spread it if she's a carrier. The best turn of events would be that her saliva acts as a vaccine, allowing others to become immune to the virus without having to go through what she did.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!
No, if that was the case the outbreak would have started AT the school. But as Miki's flashbacks show, the panic was more widespread in the city.
As for Kurumi turning into a asymptomatic carrier, that IS a valid concern (see the Left 4 Dead series). But this isn't something middle or high-schoolers would likely think about so...
Chapter 23: Fresh meat! (no, not really)
Their eyes lighting up like that was really cute lol.
Give the God Eater game thread some love! This chapter also answers the question about what happened to the OTHER person who opened the shelter before Megu-nee shuffled into there: he commited suicide.
Coward.
Also, steak!
Aaaaand we're getting an anime adaptation◊. Totally unexpected, given the mix of genres.
Ooh, nice to see
I don't think it's that weird, though? It's a legitimately good combination of a couple popular genres
Which I'm sure is going to cause dissonance.
That aside, it's a Forward series, and the magazine doesn't seem to be a Kirara mag where adaptations are drawn a lot (given its non-4koma format). Before the upcoming Hanayamata, when was the last adaptation? Dream Eater Merry.

Well, this is pretty sweet!
...
I should probably stop holding off reading it now...
Yeeeeah, I couldn't help myself. Jumping off from the "Personally followed" thread, because, why not, it's a Manga Time Kirara series heh. Oh, and it's written by Norimitsu Kaiho from Nitroplus so...
Anyway, summary!
Let's just say that summary is very deceiving. Like really.
Now has a... stub. Hopefully someone who's more familiar with the genre involved Survival Horror and Zombie Apocalypse can help fill things up. I think the first five chapters alone gave me a headache.
