With the antidote, I don't think Barry was injecting them with a syringe. It looked like an air injector. It's still unsanitary, but less so. You're supposed to wipe a person's skin with alcohol first, or else you could end up injecting harmful microbes from the skin into the bloodstream.

How do we know he wasn't doing that?

Because he wasn't holding a box of alcohol swabs?

Maybe he threw them away when he was done with them? Littering doesn't seem to be Barry's thing.

I think everyone should just be patient about the not telling Iris thing.

If it continues past halfway through Season 2, then it's time to whine.

I'm just wondering how long it will take until they build the flash museum.

Nope. If Iris is still in the dark by the end of this season, it will be much too long.

I severely doubt Iris is going to not know past this season. They've been pushing Iris finding out as the culmination of her plotline too much for it to not happen.

Not to mention, these do seem to be the writers that say that if nobody finds out there's no fun in that.

[up][up] +1

The scene with everyone but Iris knowing is awkward enough to watch, I'm sure the writers know they can't keep going like this forever.

Admittedly, solving the RF situation is the one thing needed for Barry to confess. To date, he is the only threat that Barry can't face, and that showed no hesitation in murdering people. If Barry's rogues gallery is full of guys like Cold or even Trickester, he will tell Iris, because those ones play by the Silver Age rules.

Cisco's parents amazed me. I was expecting a little favoritism on their part, but he called it so painfully well. Did they even say hello to him at the party? In fact, the last time I saw sib favoritism so blatant in a show, it was Mary Tyler Moore and All In The Family, and the favored brother in Archie's case also knew that it was screwed up. Can't tell whether the writers were just aiming over the top, or if its a case of Reality Is Unrealistic.

I know a lot of families that act like that, sadly. My cousin's family is one of them and it's really hard on the poor kid.

also, have a sad thought: think how much the real Harrison Wells (Tess Morgan) would have loved meeting and working with Cisco and Caitlin and Barry.

So, found these while looking for clips of the Trickster. Spoilers for those who missed Tuesday's episode, of course:

It's interesting that that shuddering sound actually seems to be part of Reverse Flash's theme - I thought it was the sound of him constantly vibrating, but it plays even when he's not using his powers.

So...who's the actor playing Actual Thawne? I wonder if he'll be back, or if Wells Thawne is permanent...Oh wait, hold on...what if that clip of Eddie shooting the two cops is Actual Thawne in a new person disguise? Makes sense if they end up finding the real Wells's remains next week, which it appears they do.

[up] That's actually a really awesome idea. That Thawne is found out as Wells, so he escapes notice by killing and replacing his own ancestor, totally fucking up the timeline in order to save himself.

The only thing going against that is that if that Eddie was actually Thawne in disguise, he wouldn't need to use a gun to take out the cops.

Roommate and Unprepared Friend and I discussed the Thawne taking Eddie's place theory for a minute or so until it was deemed "too painful, how about nope, don't want to think about that."

personally, I'm hoping for a shapeshifting metahuman, or a " actually the cops he shoots are evil and the audience is being tricked" type deal. I'm pretty sure neither of those will happen, but I'll be damned if I don't hope anyway.

Assuming we're looking at the same number as Arrow (twenty-three), then that means there are six left.

I'm fairly certain we are getting 23.

also if the synopsis I saw for the episode that airs on the 21st is legit I was SO. RIGHT. about it being a shapeshifting Metahuman and not Actual Golden Retriever Eddie Thawne.
