Ok, well I'm glad your looking forward to it, but I need to see at least three episodes before I can form an opinion on a show. (It's sorta a rule I have for myself)

Ya, I'm weird like that...

[up]You can see it on Nick's official website. Look it up on Google.

You'd be surprised what my movie/CD stores carry! I'm sure they may have one or two copies left.
I mean, color me curious as to what you've found there before. Like, I'm legit curious. I've only been able to find long out of print stuff like that in the used CDs section of my local independent record store.

There's a chain of comic book stores in my area that also sells C Ds, DV Ds and other nerdy paraphernalia. I've actually managed to find copies of The Best of Nicktoons and Cartoon Medley there at times. (I also found my copy of Mickey Unrapped there.)

Heh, the store I was referring to is like that too. Though I've also found some unexpected and sometimes bizarre things there, like Beatles sheet music and a scale model of the JFK assassination.

(No, I'm not even joking there.)

Now, if it was a JFK assassination playset... That would be something. It's the kind of thing conspiracy theorists would give their kids.

[up][up]Y'know, honestly, I don't even remember seeing any reactions to it. I know it wasn't there anymore the next time I went to the store, so I assume someone probably bought it.

I just hope it came with a copy of the Zapruder film and a magnifying glass.

[up]I'd Kickstart it.

@Odd 1: Oh, just a variety of stuff, new DVD box sets, older C Ds (I'm not a big music fan so I couldn't give you the specifics) PS 2 games, there's also a section for VHS tapes.

VHS tapes, eh?...

Have you ever seen any orange Nickelodeon tapes there?...

Where can I find this place?...

I may have seen one or two. They didn't have a lot, mostly just old ones from back when they were still used. Some people like to have them just for nostalgias sake. Like how game stores have old Nintendo games. Considering your in R.I., is traveling a couple of states away really worth some VHS tapes? tongue

Maybe. I want to be able to claim that I have a copy of every Nickelodeon video made before 2000. It may take years, it may take decades, but I will eventually be able to boast about it.

So what's your favorite classic Nick bumper? Mine is the "Do-Wop-a-Saurus" bumper.

Anytime I've been to a comic book convention, there're usually a few vendors who sell stuff like old (and sometimes pirated) vhs tapes of all descriptions, and rare and unusual cds.

My local comic book convention, sadly enough, cannot boast that. I've been there every year since 2012 and I can't say I've ever seen it happening. There's generally bootleg DV Ds, but the selection is pretty poor - you can get complete season sets of MST 3 K, but then they have Nicktoons that are already available legally on DVD... and no Cartoon Cartoons that aren't. I can't even recall if they even had DV Ds of, say, obscure cartoons that aired on Nickelodeon back in the 80s and early 90s...

At least you can buy posters for stuff like Surf Nazis Must Die there. And they have great guests.

Recently watched Pan Pizza's My Life as a Teenage Robot. I forgot how much I enjoyed that show. Sure it wasn't one of the greatest Nicktoons on the channel or the most original, but it still was a really good show. I ought to check it out sometime soon. I never saw all the episodes back when it was on. I think only saw some of the episodes from seasons 1 and 2. Don't think I ever saw the Escape from Cluster special or Season 3.

Season 3 IMHO, was when the series really went downhill. More shit B-level villains, Jenny acted more irresponsible, and the last episode wasn't much to leave off with.

It was cute. In terms of early-to-mid-2000s Nick I can't say I'd watch it over something like either Avatar series (sans Korra season 2) or Jimmy Neutron, but I'd watch it over Spongebob.

Question: do we actually have a nickelodeon live-action thread? Cause theres an upcoming show I want to talk about a bit but I can't find a thread in the live action forums and it doesn't seem worth making a new thread for just itself.

I doubt we do, but what is the show you wanted to bring up?
