Well, I actually had that in my academy days. A buddy of mine whom I would work a lot with on projects and stuff was suddenly gone when he was about to graduate. Never heard of him again. There are rumours that he had died in an accident, but that's just that, rumours.
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.I knew I wasn't alone! I hope that your friend is okay & those rumors are false.
Actually, something like that happened when I was in...first or second grade of elementary. He was one or two years older than me, but he was really cool and friendly. But then he just...vanished. I was too young to really think about it at the time, but I think he might have been a foster child or something just living there temporarily.

I remember no friends from the time I went to the usuburban school in my childhood. I doubt they remember me.
Or we all used to have a lot more friends, but they were all taken away by government either because they were recruited for secret project or because they knew too much, or both.

I also heard from a fellow schoolmate in my early grammar school years, who converted to Salafi Islam and was killed in an attempt to attack an embassy in Lebanon last summer. But I wasn't friends with him, I just knew he was there.

Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.and there's some people who don't join Facebook. (I actually tried looking for this person on Facebook...)
I've had a ton of good friends I used to keep in touch with a lot over IM just sort of drop of the face of the earth, never to be seen again.
Maybe real life got in the way...
Come on, I don't think any of them really disappear.
Maybe it is us who actually disappeared and that we are trapped somewhere secret, reliving artificial memories.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."That's something you wanna say to someone who feels like they're losing their grip on reality.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Literally tens of times, most recently just a few months ago. (Used to be fairly close to a girl who moved to another state, until she recently changed her number and deleted her Facebook for reasons unknown.)
Project progress: The Adroan (102k words), The Pigeon Witch, (40k). Done but in need of reworking: Yume Hime, (50k)
I wanted to see if this happens to anyone, where you have a really close friend as a kid and he/she is suddenly... gone. You know this person's real, because you found a photo years later... Does this happen to anyone?
