I don't like this image, either; it illustrates a different trope. This trope is about someone not knowing that he's in or secretly being in the group he hates. With the hood off, it's pretty hard to deny your skin color.

Aye, this illustrates Boomerang Bigot, and not very well in my mind.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSeconding motion to pull.
@2: Not knowing on WHOSE part? The character is blind, so he doesn't KNOW what race he is.
...wait, he's supposed to be blind? That...actually might make the pic work provided we caption it so that's clear.
Good point.
Without the caption pointing that he's blind, one can just assume he has his eyes closed.

In context, Clayton Bigsby doesn't know he's black.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. The current picture could work with a caption like "appointing a blind man as their leader might not have been the best idea" or something. The picture in post #8 is probably more of a Boomerang Bigot.

Now that you mention it, Boomerang Bigot already has the "Black Klansman" for an image.
Are the too similar to risk it?
And in-universe, the current later becomes a Boomerang Bigot as well.
I don't think the similarities are enough to worry about.
Okie doke, just throwing it out there.
10's caption could work.
Sounds pretty good. I'll go with it.
Fine for me as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAnd me.
Good enough. It's up and the page is tagged; locking up.
Just how do we get "he's anti black, but he's black himself, although hiding it/in denial/not knowing his one" from that pic, even knowing he's dressed up in a parody of the Ku Klux Klan costume (which make it seem more like Boomerang Bigot than this trope)?
And even if it's not JAFAAC, The motion blur of his arms make it difficult to tell what's in his hands (and thus, we don't know if that's a mask or not).
