Oh geez.

• Wears purple shirt in the first episode.
• Generally comedic, unusually upbeat character.
• Semi-important character, mob enforcer, skilled but not too skilled.
  • Pretty much coordinates Fish's rescue and escape.
• Kills sibling in a very somber scene.
• Falcone's first scene with him. "Forgive me young man, I've forgotten your name. Or perhaps I never knew it.
  • Survives Falcone's surprise-attack, despite Falcone appearing in-person and having every other person shot.

It's totally Butch.

I don't know who that dude was who confronted Fish at the end of the episode, but I think he likely bit off more than he can chew.

Okay Gordkins is awesomely cute. S Ooooooo much more chemistry than him and Barb.

My problem is he had a machine gun why didn't he just shoot her instead of charging towards her.

He had a bandolier and it looked like he still had some ammo but I could be mistaken.

Nope.

Okay, question: Am I the only Troper who laughed hysterically during the scene when Penguin is about to get crushed in the car smasher, during which he pulls out a cell phone and calls the crusher operator, threatens him, and then gets out in the nick of time? Anyone?

It kinda got a chuckle out of me.

I mean, that's a pretty crazy way to get out of a situation like that.

While Penguin being all Smug Snake and cruel until someone actually threatens him, at which point he has a tendency to cave and blab it all to worm his way out of situations, feels like a nice Call-Forward / Mythology Gag to the similar situations he has as Batman's designated stool pidgeon, I kind of hope he becomes less of a weasel at some point.

I laughed at the nonchalant guy eating a sandwich.

I do like how Penguin seems to be able to weasel his way out of just about anything. I actually think that's the first time I remember seeing somebody escape a deathtrap using a cell phone.

Although maybe I wasn't paying close attention; how did Penguin get the crusher operator's phone number?

He owned the scrapyard, his number was on a billboard.

Either 411 because it is a place of business or he had the number on his phone because the person worked for Maroni and Penguin problem had to make phone calls for Maroni.
