That's really cool — thanks for making it! I'm reminded of the clickable Essential Third Act Twists that someone made here.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. You've made it even more wonderful!

Dawn: Awesome work man. If you don't mind I would like to share this with people on Face Book.
Who watches the watchmen? That's a thing of beauty...excellent work.
I like that you referenced some of the old trope names in the symbols. Like Creator's Pet with Wes, and Eccentric Mentor is Dbd.
@Tuefel By all means, feel free to spread it around!
@Discar Yeah, an earlier version of the table predates some of those changes. When I updated the Table over the last few months, I updated the trope names, but not the three-letter identifiers, so as to maintain compatibility with the posters I've sold up to this point.
Glad you guys like it! I just released an improvement that lets you click on a story to see which tropes it's an example of.
There's one other feature that didn't make it in: I wanted to make it so that by mousing over a trope, the page would open a preview window that would show you the first few lines of the trope description. You can still see the feature by opening your Javascript console (Ctrl-shift-J in Chrome, Ctrl-shift-K in Firefox) and entering "enableTestingFunctions()". Check the box that appears, and you'll be able to play with the preview window.
The problems with the feature become immediately apparent. This feature is designed to open a window into TV Tropes on the page, but aiming that window is tricky. Because of the rules that govern cross-site scripting, I can't modify the page I'm showing at all - I can only modify the window I'm showing it in. I need to hide TV Tropes' top and left-side nav bars, but the dimensions of those bars are not 100% consistent across browsers or even across pages, which results in chopped off sections in some previews and wasted space in others.
If there was a "mobile version" of TV Tropes that hid these elements, or if I could somehow request that the servers send me just the trope text, the preview could probably work pretty well, and make an even more addictive entry point into TV Tropes. In the absence of those features, though, the preview window will probably remain undocumented and unsupported. It probably would have caused lots of server load anyway. Ah well.

You could probably load the source code and somehow chop it down to just the start of the description. There are a number of browser features and apps like Readability that load just the body text of the page.
Are any of them possible using only JavaScript/jQuery? I don't know anything about server programming yet.

I don't know how many of you remember the Periodic Table of Storytelling, but as part of updating my portfolio I just released a clickable version. It's designed to function as kind of an entry portal or introduction to the wiki, giving potential new members a broad variety of possible entry points and places to explore. See what you think!
