So is it true that Final Crisis was going to be the reboot originally? I could swear I heard this somewhere. I can believe it; that story felt like an ending.
it would have fit a lot better. but I've heard that too, but they postponed the reboot a few years.
Though if the reboot had been there we'd have been screwed out of the climax of Johns' Green Lantern. Decisions decisions...
We already were. Based on things before the reboot and after it, his endgame definitely changed.

The climax to Johns' Green Lantern epic was actually Wrath of the First Lantern, which came after the New 52 reboot. The reboot didn't affect the Green Lantern books at all.
Based on little things before the reboot it seemed to be leading up to something different. It probably would have involved the the people who were resurected more, or Alan, and Jade. Now Johns was still able to work with the reboot, but if he didn't have to give up a bunch of characters and history, his ending probably would have been better, like maybe no First lantern, or no third army.
Sneek Peek at the solits for Telos#2 and Lois and Clark#2
For some reason, they're using a re purposed take on an abandoned 2012 Tony Daniel Action Comics cover for the latter.

Alan wasn't really a part of his GL run and Jade's storyline was actually a part of Brightest Day. Really, I think Johns had enough pull that he as able to write his entire epic without editorial interference - and also, unlike many other writers, he knew exactly when the reboot was coming, so he was able to make sure his books didn't contradict it.
Looney Tunes characters by unnamed artists from Warner Bros. Animation.
No fucking respect.
Wonder Woman Lunchbox Deemed Too Violent for School

That's ridiculous even by dress code standards.
Formerly KarmaMeter....Seriously? What's a picture of Wonder Woman going to do, make you focus on her so much that you can't concentrate on your work?
...Come to think of it, that's actually a semi-plausible outcome, but I think my point still stands.
A picture of Wonder Woman is going to be a bad influence, because she's a superhero and thus a violent person. It doesn't even need to show her hitting things, because she's the sort of person who solves problems by hitting things.

That is ridiculous logic. It's Insane Troll Logic.
I know it is ridiculous but that is the reason the school gave.
People need to settle down like one story of a kid being suspended from school because he pretended his finger was a gun. If that happened when I was a child my friends and I would have been constantly suspended because it was when the Goldeneye video game came out so we used to pretend we were characters from the game and movies during recess.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureNow that I think about it, how is a lunchbox a violation of the school dress code? Kids don't wear lunch boxes they carry them. They're not articles of clothing.
Well, I suppose if you cut some arm&leg-holes out of a large lunchbox and place a rather small baby inside— {Is shot.}

It's an accessory?
In all seriousness, I think I'd be fine with a school invoking the dress code against something on a lunchbox that's actually worth cracking down on. After all, it probably didn't occur to anyone to make rules that are explicitly about lunchboxes, but having something depicted on your lunch box that you can't have on your shirt violates the spirit of the rules. My only problem is that they're forbidding a nonviolent depiction of fucking Wonder Woman, who is not exactly the goddamn Midnighter.
Is it because her outfit looks like a one-piece swimsuit?
Now I want a goddamn Midnighter lunchbox.
Face shot on one side, him removing some random schmuck's spine on the other, the kids'll love it.
It may not have happened according to snopes. http://m.snopes.com/wonder-woman-lunchbox/ Who even uses metal lunchboxes anymore?
I don't know but the metal lunchboxes are extremely collectable now. They are more expensive if you have the thermos.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure
To expand a bit on kkhohoho's point, in the early Silver Age, DC's comics were separated by editorial office. Using a character from a different editor's comics was a matter of negotiating a special appearance, and since not all of the editors got on well, it usually wasn't worth the hassle. The Justice League was a special instance, and even there Batman and Superman were initially "special appearances."
So if there was a crossover or a mention of other heroes, it was generally within the editorial office. World's Finest, incidentally, was under the Superman office, which is why most of the earlier stories use his supporting characters and plot points much more than Batman's.
