Fall of the Dynasty Sign Ups and Interest

Inspired somewhat by Shin Angyo Onshi.

The great country of Jourei has fallen.

Next to no one, outside of a select few, know for certain what happened to cause such a complete and total collapse. Some said that the country's ambitious "Heavens Tower" angered a God, and He sent a Black Winged Angel to punish the greatest empire of Man for their arrogance.

The capitol still burns, if not in fact, then in spirit. No one lives there any more except brigands and highwaymen. Blood still stains the walls in terrifying amounts. What happened in this once great city...?

The surrounding lands have lapsed back into feudalism, rival lords squabbling among themselves to see who may succeed and establish the next dynasty.

Among them, some Lords take advantage of the peasantry's confusion and panic, and abuse their power and authority to take what they desire. Corruption has spread like a virus, infecting nigh on everyone.

The wicked forces of the demonic horde have returned after so long dormant, spreading north from the "Heavens Tower" which once stood at the central area of the empire.

Concerned, the nearby Empire of Qiong and the Dovana Kingdom both prepare for the worst to come of the scourge of the combination of a land infested by chaos and the demonic threat.

It is in this chaotic land we find unlikely heroes...

The genre is primarily going to be an Eastern Weird West Kung Fu Mysticism hybrid.

With enough people saying interest, I will post a sign up sheet.

Very much allowed. Encouraged, even.

While humans make up a good portion of the protagonist cast, as with Shin Angyo Onshi, one female hero will be very heavily inferred to not be entirely of this world, let alone the Ki Attack user who became a zombie, and there are demons independent of Kaiza in differing "tribes".

Ambiguously Human in a varied range is acceptable.

Perhaps. Maybe. All in all, we're watching this with interest, Nick. I've seen your work, and I wouldn't mind an RP you created.

  • (though Jourei is mostly human, there are sentient demon tribes separate from Kaiza's Brood. And there's a race of rat-like humanoids that live on a large number of small outlying islands, a major point of contention for them. There is a popular Religion of Evil among these rat-men that venerates Aji Tae)
