Yeah. They covered her eyes so I wasn't convinced.
I got the highest level paint job from Scooter's and I got Rhy's the Black and Tron Line Arm (No going to Hyperion so why keep it?) and I got Fiona the Steampunk Queen or whatever outfit.
I wanted to get Vaughn some Specs but I didn't have the money.
I went with a Maliwan paint job, I think it was blue, and the same outfits as
I noticed that Rhys's arm in the scenes with the Stranger gets retconned if you changed it.

I don't know about the Stranger being someone they know seeing the point of Fiona's prodding is just to get the fact that The Stranger probably won't just straight up murder them unless they force the issue
It might be... but it might be someone We haven't met yet either
Cause certain answers give you a better picture
It can't be Vaughn or Sasha cause the Stranger is the one that takes issue with the idea that Fiona just tried to kill Rhys in episode 1 even though thats the truth.
Rhy's arm is actualy Chrome in the framing device. And wearing an outfit that we haven't gotten yet. And Fiona's framing device outfit was in the Trailer in episode one, but hasn't been seen since and its not the Steampunk Outfit.
I would assume that they're getting scripted Outfit Upgrades at somepoint in the next two episodes.
So at first, I wasn't a big fan of Gortys' legs. It just looked weird for me. But then I noticed something, and suddenly I'm okay with it.
See, while she does have those clunky 'gams', her arms are way too small by comparison. You know who has arms but not legs? Loader Bot. They literally complete each other,
I didn't like it either, but I figured it'll make sense with her future upgrades.
Is GORTYS a her??? I mean, GORTYS is voiced by a woman, but... idk. I can't remember if they say she.
Yeah, they refer to her using feminine pronouns.
Her subtitle did say during the name splash "(older than she looks)".
There was a disappointing lack of Jack in this episode. And a disappointing amount of lag. Seriously Telltale's products has always had framerate issues but this episode turned into a slideshow half the time. And I play on console!
#IceBearForPresidentReally? I don't remember having any issues.
I'm going to presume that the lack of Jack is to save him for next episode, which will almost certainly be Jack-heavy.
Oh God! Natural light!Well, isn't Jack just hanging around in Rhys' ECHO-Eye, delivering all the analysis from his own viewpoint?
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelIf you sided with Jack, I believe so. Otherwise, he really only has one scene.
Oh God! Natural light! No. A scene in episode 2 had him walk behind Vaughn and tell Rhys how many fingers he was holding up among other information Rhys would have no way of knowing.
"I'm going to presume that the lack of Jack is to save him for next episode, which will almost certainly be Jack-heavy."
Agreed. This Episode was a major focus on Fiona becoming a badass Vault Hunter in training, and the next Episode will inevitably be about Rhys becoming a badass Hyperion leader in training. If we do have to go to Hyperion I imagine Jack, and Rhys by proxy, would be able to control the entire station almost instantly with no resistance, since it's Jack who more or less built the place.
"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion."I think the episode had enough Jack. So far Telltale's been good at developing the characters rather than making it focus completely on one.
He plays a bigger role if you side with him in EP 2, but I didn't.
I didn't trust him and I told him point blank that I couldn't ever trust him.
Mostly out of morbid curiosty on how they'll justify Rhys' change of character later.
My in character justification is that Rhys has come to realize that hero worship from afar is a lot easier, you know, from afar. Meeting him in person isn't a let down, but eye opening.
Man. I really do not like Jack. And not in a "man, this character is a jerk" way but in a "Man, this character is the most annoying thing ever" way.
It's like, they had the self-awareness to leave Claptrap out, but it all just got transferred to him.
Gortys is pretty great, though.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."How could you find Jack annoying?
He's the best character of the franchise! At least to me. That being said it's lot more of pre-Angel Jack in Tales, since the AI version of Jack we're with was made just prior to it apparently, and while it's obviously the same Jack who saw into the future, he still didn't know specifically that his daughter gets killed. We get a glimpse of "Stranglejack" in Episode 3 if you sided with him in Episode 2, but it's mostly the cocky and narcissistic version rather than the murderously psychotic version post-Angel death.
If our Jack finds out Angel died, then he's going to have a complete change in personality, and probably try to kill quite a few people near us, maybe even Rhys.
"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion."I have no idea what any of the words you just said mean.
I'm only, like, a few hours into Borderlands 2, and I haven't played the Presequel. But the few glimpses I've gotten of Jack in 2 seem just as annoying as his Tales version.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I feel like his Tales version is a hell of a lot more 3 dimensional.
The whole point was to flesh him out a little. The Pre-Sequel was Jack's story.
I dunno... he's just so smug and condescending and frustrating. And that's probably the point, but it doesn't work for me.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am.""I have no idea what any of the words you just said mean."
Yeah, if you're only a few hours into Borderlands 2 you'll have no idea what I'm talking. A spoilerfree tl;dr, Jack drops most of the narcissism and sarcasm and becomes very cruel and violent near the end of the game.
It's that smug condescension and murderous psychopathy that make him the best character of the franchise.

"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion."I suppose he's not everyone's cup of tea.
Oh God! Natural light!Eh. The way I'm playing Fiona, I'd say she's the best character as far as I'm concerned. Or Athena, she's pretty rad too.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."
I got the new costume (forgot the name) for Fiona, new shades for Vaughn.
Couldn't afford anything else, and the goggles for Sasha looked ridiculous.
