The article talks about official organisations enforcing taste/decency in media, but the cartoon used as an image promotes the Parents' Television Council, an unofficial and laughably extreme group of Moral Guardians.

Isn't there a more appropriate illustration?

I do not know why the current would be "inappropriate" at all. I also find it kind-of funny.

It's a Visual Pun. Since this seems to be those tropes that are difficult to illustrate well, I vote for KUPIS

That's a bad picture if we're just supposed to know what PTC and FCC are. There is the word "airwaves" there but can't we find something that illustrates the media part?

I can figure out the meaning even without knowing that the acronyms mean.

I'm perfectly fine with the current, although a larger version would be good if we can find one.

My only complaint is the quality is a little low. But it's by no means an obscure term, and the cartoon does illustrate via symbology.
