Chapter 5 is up. In which Teppei learns how to forge weapons and armor.
Huh, that's actually different for this type of genre, now that I think about it.
Watch SymphogearWell if this doesn't change his friends mind, nothing will.
Using the weapons was clever, but it seems acid face had an ace of his own, albeit an Ace he likely didn't know he had.
If that kid could find a way to forge real weapons out of his armoured skin, he might just just become even more formidable.
The people still seem to be on the fence as well.

One Strip! One Strip! He actually does forge weapons and shields. Nice, didn't think we'd get to that point this fast.
Teppei: Level 1 Blacksmith.
Nice strategy discussion. But it had to go sour at the end. Can Teppei make it in time!?
I think he will. The fact that the crowd doesn't seem to totally know what to think about him seems to be a set up for him to re-earn their trust, and this will be the moment when it happens. Taking a pool of acid head on to save his buddy will prove his good-will.
One Strip! One Strip!
After who knows how long New chapter:
Also, Bunny Girl fully reveals herself and makes it clear she's Teppei's Lancer, and after the battle, the entire crowd helps to cool him down.
Fuck you Fairy Tail! Kiss my ass Naruto! Stick your head up your own ass UQ Holder!
Iron Knight is back, and it is better than all of you combined!
One Strip! One Strip! In honest opinion, how long do you think this series is gonna last?
According to our own WSJ ranking tracking thread, when last ranked, Iron Knight was fourteenth. That's just a sneeze away from cancellation in Shounen Jump.
Unless tankoubon sales have been amazing, weeks, or maybe a month or more.

New chapter:
Now the Goblins seem to be smart enough to use guns. And we got a new dude up; a sniper.
One Strip! One Strip!
Another new chapter:
The military falls in line pretty quickly, and Teppei has found his girlfriend.
I'm surprised there weren't any General Ripper types, or some Fantastic Racism from any of the soldiers. I was also wondering how they figured out that these Goblins have a cloud computing type set up, but the reveal that they have a spy on the inside explains it. The main body must have been a soldier himself, which explains the knowledge to teach them guns.
One Strip! One Strip!New chapter out.
Backstabber! Err, backgunner?
It would seem so.
Either, he's the real main core, or he's collaborating with them. Either way, what a bastard.
One Strip! One Strip! His "You're a better strategist than me" comment definitely implies that he's the one in charge. Or in charge of their strategy, at least. He could just be a collaborator who gave tactical suggestions, but I'm thinking he's the main guy.
Me too. It was kinda implied that the one running the show had to have a military background, since the group is a hive mind, and know what the main body knows., even if I don't think they ever outright said it. Having the spy be right amongst them somewhat explains their difficulties getting one up on the Goblins.
That being said, there's still a lot we don't know, so lets hold up and see what else goes down.
One Strip! One Strip!New chapter:
His change may not be as overt as the others, but it's damned useful with his experience. All it took was a shirt, and he was able to hide in plain sight.
And now Teppei has been named, Neo Hesei Kamen Rider style. I like this.
One Strip! One Strip!Thought the title drop was a bit forced, but hey, Teppei really is one badass kid.

Iron Knight got axed. It's not an April Fool Joke.
God damn everything and everyone.
Fuck you Fairy Tail, Fuck you Naruto, and fuck you every other manga that doesn't deserve to still be running.
....... Ok, I'm a little bitter. I'll admit it.
One Strip! One Strip!Shounen Jump appears to be pretty quick to drop series that have any problems. Are they the Fox of manga publishers?
They start and end 2-3 series, most recently four in order to maintain a fresh and popular line-up (and, if you look at their circulation numbers next to their competitors, it works). Iron Knight has been consistently last place without exception since the last round of cancellations.
Before then, it already started off right near the bottom and was only outranking the two series that were cancelled before it prior to those series ending.
This was a case of a series that blatantly had no popularity at all. I'm surprised it even lasted as long as it did with ranks that bad, but its run was essentially doubled in length by the aforementioned two series it was briefly outranking.

Maybe. We'll have to wait and see. And yeah, there were pretty slow to pull the full rejection. I think there's definitely hope this will turn out better.
They are obviously confused about the whole thing. Fear (and anger in that one kids case) won out, but I don't truly think they've completely rejected him.
