Do what I do and save scum!

I'm getting to the point where A) the classmating is getting even more sexual looking (to me) and B) where I can have threesomes in the name of better stats.

Well, I am at the point where it' sit me to take on the first boss for the second time, now with extra respawn negating goodness.

On the extra plus side, I did manage to get all four girls I have at this point maxed out on the relations front, but since that's only one segment, I don't think it's too impressive. Moods are overall great, but there's still room for improvement.

Also, the early weapons DLC makes clearing the first dungeon a snap... So far. Watch my luck change by the end.

(I blame not thinking of save scumming on the semi-awkward placement of the save option.)

Edit: Fricking age of majority, you cost me free drinks! AKA Boss 1 Take 2 has fallen to my overwhelming might; namely, he only got off one attack before dying to a 7k damage attack. And now I have to figure out what to do with my max leveled kids...

There's an independence option on your team edit in the dorm. Set them free and make some more!

I guess that is the only real option outside of keep using them, huh? Ah well, at least I got the Guild, Gift Shop, and a few facility level ups out of the deal...

So, when I stopped playing earlier this morning (I wish I didn't need to sleep; the extra time awake would be nice) I had unlocked Serina and gotten her and the other four girls up to max mood and max relationship for this stage. In the process of leveling the girls and a team to take on the first two sub dungeons, and on the children front I have two starred kids (Archer and Thief).

Question: Is there any reason to not take every quest from the Lab when it's available, or is there some kind of penalty or upper limit?

Also, am I the only one to notice that the devs implemented jiggle physics on the girl's hair, outfit, and obvious place on the costume and accessory equip screen?

For those wondering, this is the list of games that Spake Chinsoft has made.

And you might want to check out Spike and Chunsoft's pages pre-merger.

Also, that games localized needs to be updated. I went to their Youtube channel and found Saints Row IV, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and Guacamelee. (All great games. Good job SC! [tup])

I just hope the sales of Conception 2 are good enough for them to consider making a third.

Well, I answered my question, apparently there is an upper limit to the number of quests you can have active at once.

So, that aside, what are the requirements to unlock all the facilities? Because I have two lock icons on my city screen taunting me and I hate being taunted.

[up]Level up the city and progress the story and those will open.

And no, you weren't the only one to notice the jiggle physics.

I think everyone did.

How is Blindmating and Classmanting supposed to work? It says it's online but then says Ad Hoc. -checkes Tutorial-

Edit: Oh my god, another Star-Star child. This time a Paladin with Feene. Welp.

The on-card manual for the 3DS version outright states that both are local play with no mention of internet play.

So I'm pretty sure that the only online features are getting DLC and downloading patches from the PSN / eShop.

If that's the technical term for those that go up to level 99, then yeah. I already had a Gambler from Chole and that earned wonders on helping me like her. That and her side-plot is interesting.

Yup, you mean Geniuses. They also have higher stats than other star children of the same level. I stupidly made mine a Minstrel or however you spell that bard class. My second was a Magic Knight.

I've actually been keeping up with all of the girls' little plots. Too bad the harem ending is exclusive to a new game plus, since I'd most likely get it on my first run otherwise.

Ahhhh, so that's how you get it. (Looked at trophies) Yeah same here. It's rather easy to maintain that harem of girls here.

Trust me, if my rather limited time playing h-games has taught me anything, it's that you have to earn your harem ending. The one time you could get the harem ending without completing every girl's route... Let's just say the guy got literally screwed by the girls and leave it at that.

So, NG+, eh? Outside of unlocking the harem ending, what else is unlocked and what transfers over?

I actually don't know much about New Game Plus or endings (can't find info on them aside from that NG+ exists, endings somehow involve affection and the harem ending is NG+ exclusive).

Ah. Guess we'll find out when one of us gets there.

In news relating to my playthrough, I got really lucky and had a Magical Girl Heart drop for me. I'm saving this one for a Genius. I've also started chapter 3, and wow, did things take a turn for the worse there. On the flip side, new character and a new chunk unlocked on the relationship gauge. On the down side, that means it's grinding time.

I have been grinding for days right now, getting all of my ladies up to level 26. I'm getting closer now. I believe I'm on Chapter 4. All the ladies are unlocked...and maxed affection so far.

Bluh bluh grinding.

I'd tell you that's excessive, but Satanael was a rightful pain in the rear, so that grinding will help you out immensely.

Why does everyone named Satanael have to be such a pain to fight?

Sorry for the double-post, but info on how the endings and new game plus seems to have surfaced.

To get each heroine's ending, you just have to proceed through their story events until they ask you to take them to the star conception festivalnote  (harem ending requires that at least 1 other ending's been seen and that all of the heroines reach that point). You can see multiple endings (including the harem ending) without playing again by saving your clear data in a separate slot, since the game has a hidden file that keeps track of events you've seen as long as you save after seeing it. I personally wouldn't do that and just use the new game plus (see below), but it's an option that's there for the lazy.

Two new game plus options. You can either start from the beginning or from the start of chapter 7 (the last point in the game that lets you do whatever you want, apparently). Everything carries over if you start at chapter 7, but starting from the beginning empties out the heroines' affection barsnote  and, of course, limits your labyrinths to what's available at any given point according to the plot. Every ending except the harem ending gives you exclusive armor, the harem ending gives you 7 of an exclusive accessory (so you can give one to every girl).

I just got to chapter 7, so this was nice to know. Amusingly, it seems that I did, indeed, met the harem ending requirements on my first run. evil grin

And I have a deep and lingering suspicion that I will as well. (On chapter 5, working on the "matching every girl's level" section)

Same, part of my grinding each chapter is building up affections before doing the main story dungeon for the chapter.

Also, interesting tidbit that's kinda pointless now: You know how we discovered that the 3DS demo was crappy compared to the Vita demo? Atlus was asked "why" on twitter and their response was that the 3DS demo had to be smaller for "technical reasons". I really want to know what those reasons are...

Also, apparently more DLC will be available tomorrow, and still more for on the next 3 Tuesdays after that. Not sure if the Vita version is the same as the 3DS version, but the DLC list is 18 items long on the 3DS version, it's just that only 4 of those entries have actual details instead of a simple "coming soon" placeholder. I'll try and keep you guys up to date, but I won't object if someone ninjas me.

There's a list on the game's site. The DLC list is identical between platforms.

The technical reasons are probably file size-related. Nintendo has very strict file size limits that have prevented entire games from being released digitally.
