Persona 5 page

Someone created a Persona 5 page so far consisting of only one line. Is there enough information released to fill it out more?

If that's not the case the page will be cut, (asked on ATT), until more information has been released.

PS 3, eh?

Makes sense; Persona is generally a Sony thing, and this one's probably been in production for quite a while, whereas the 8th generation is barely a year old. Come to think of it, the PS 4 wasn't announced until this very year, and it isn't even out in Japan. So it's a bit early to be expecting games like Persona on the PS 4. Especially given that Persona 4 was released when the PS 3 had already been out for over a year.

Still, if this pattern holds, chances are by the time Persona 6 for the PS 4 comes out, the PS 5 will be releasing to rave reviews.

This is just my speculation, of course.

I believe that they have said in an interview that they just didn't have the resources to make it onto the PS 4. But they still very much like the system. Also, that they were going to try to make it a handheld game, I'd assume Vita, but that they knew that fans would be way too disappointed. (Hence most of the game spinoffs and updated rereleases on them)

Persona 5 will most likely be its own thing, but set in the P3 and P4 verse.

^Which are set in same as first two Kind of, I mean second game does have alternate timeline stuff happening at end because of cosmic retcons.

Hilariously, Atlus shrugged and pushed Persona 5 back to Summer 2016.
