my opinion is the last time someone made a thread like this, it was locked within the week.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

Oh boy, a complaint thread. Gonna get my answer in before the thread's locked.
Season 7 was the last good one.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.

Let's discuss when did Family Guy become the notorious Anvilicious Sadist Show that this wiki complains about.
The first two seasons were okay, but hints of many fan problems begin in the third season. Meg started to become the butt of the joke, messages about tolerance began to creep in and the gags, especially cutaways, were becoming more surreal in nature.
The fourth season was then things really kicked into overdrive. The Meg jokes were much more frequent, the gags were more outlandish, and gave us the show's first preachy Gay Aesop show "You May Now Kiss the...Uh...Guy Who Receives", where they demonized the Republican Party for the first time.
The fifth/sixth seasons had the preachiness much more blatant, giving us religion-smackers like "Prick Up Your Ears" and "Boys Do Cry", the latter giving us a bitter representation of the South.
The seventh and most criticized season was what gave us Brian epics like "Not All Dogs Go to Heaven" (what many call the worst episode) and "Episode 420" and bungled Aesops in "Family Gay" and "The Juice is Loose!".
After that, there wasn't much complaining, with a gripe every now and then about religion and stereotypes, such as in "Road to the Multiverse", "Tea Peter" and anything with Ida in it.
What's your opinion?
