Changed w/o discussion: Mattress Tag Gag

I'm not seeing any hint there was a discussion before changing the image to current.

I don't believe the new one is an improvement.

Both work really but the original works on the basis of being a lot better looking.

Same, and I like the gag in the old one.

It takes a lot for me to prefer an Oot S image over another, but it's definitely a lot better.

Maybe something from this◊? I can't figure out how to cut that down into anything less than three panels, but it's funny.

I would support the current if only it were better quality. Not really keen on the Dilbert one.

The Dilbert one is too text-dependent.

to the Dilbert strip, it pretty much takes the whole strip to get the context completely across.

On the Dilbert. The explanation of the gag is entirely in the caption. The image alone is simply the mattress tag.

There was an old thread about it, but didn't really concern more than her eyes and fair use.

Anyway, that's the pic I prefer for this page.

I like the new one better. Oot S is just wordswordswords.

Not really. Unlike the current, the OOTS image actually shows the mattress, which gives it a leg up, IMO. I wouldn't even know that the current was a mattress tag if it wasn't on this page. The other thing is that this trope is about the gag, not the tag itself. The current image just shows the mattress tag itself. The OOTS one actually shows the "someone takes the tag really seriously" joke that the page is actually about.

Wow, this took off like a shot. I've put the old pic and caption back on the page with a tag, and integrated the losers into their respective examples on the page. Locking up.
