They did it because it had ran for 60 episodes, and Nickelodeon usually ends their shows at that mark if they do well. The only reason iCarly ran longer was because it was more successful than most of their sitcoms.

It was good during it's first few seasons, but then when fans started having fanships with Freedy and Sam, I just said "Fuck this" and went to Cory In The House.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceNickelodeon recently made an official page for it's upcoming Nicktoon Breadwinners which includes show info, character bios, and even a remake of the original You Tube short. Here it is: http://www.nick.com/shows/breadwinners/
Nick is also making a new game show with some guy named Ryan Seacrest that focuses on viral videos.
Breadwinners and Ryan? Viral videos? Well, they're more original than disney's crap, but JUST BRING BACK FUCKIN' NICK ARCADE ALREADY!
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceTHANK YOU!!!!!! :D
@ wammyguide : How precisely is there nothing rude about that? Ok. Forget taking Dan Schneider anywhere, or seeing anyone. My posts were about Nick losing people because it dialed some of these concepts way past eleven. Whoever they have producing whatever show, just maybe have them dial back the use of the traits discussed here as annoying and off-putting.
I didn't mean to be rude. I just thought there shouldn't be shows with a bad ending literally every episode and have no likable characters whatsoever.
No - your anger is justified, especially with what you just pointed out there.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.@ Wammyguide. We agree. I don't want a show like that either, anymore than a jolly happy ending every ep. I don't know where the confusion started, and I'm sorry for calling you rude. These shows commit the great sin of being in a plot rut, with only escalating multiples of hellish screw-overs awaiting the same hapless characters, till its actually painful to watch.
One day, I went to my brother's friends' house, and couldn't be outside for some reason or other. They had little ones, and they were watching TV, so I just sat back and watched what they watched. It was Drake and Josh, some kind of marathon, and I felt like I'd run a marathon in a Louisiana swamp in Late July afterwords. I just can't see how anyone would find this evil brat funny. I think that (Old Fuddy-Duddy Alert) these shows will have zero rerun value, unlike the classics.
Speaking of which, The newest Sanjay And Craig did a whole episode referencing Family Double Dare. FAMILY. DOUBLE. MOTHERFUCKIN' DARE. FOR THIS GENERATION! How's that for blatantly trying to drag in the older audiance?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceOh yeah, that reminds me of the time Drake and Josh copied that famous gag from I Love Lucy. Or the Honeymooners. The one with the packaging shrimp
"Good" News people! Nickelodeon got back the crowd!
Proof, please?
They are scoring higher in ratings and Disney is an a rut, with all of their successful series ending.
I will bring the proof.
But I thought that Disney Channel and Disney Jr was crushing Nickelodeon and Nick Jr
That's slowly but surely changing.
.... Wander Over Yonder is ending!? ...Phineas and Ferb is ending!? ... Gravity Falls is ending!? Better tune in, mate.
All 3 shows are being cancelled?! Big "NO!"!!!
Source, please (BTW)... NOOOOOOO!!!
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.What?? Where did that come from?? >: They're not being canceled!
From YOU!
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatNo I was reacting to what the guy above me said!
I still don't quite understand why Nick tanked Victorious when it had stable ratings.
