So if that's the case, can we just retitle this thread "My Hipster Taste in TV" then?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.If that were the case, the OP would be saying "I was into so-and-so before it was cool."
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast.""Hated" shows i actually like: Fish Hooks
Avengers: Assemble
Ultimate Spider-man
Mad
The Looney Tunes Show (though thats more of a YMMV situation i suppose)
I also dig a majority of those toy-based cartoons of the 80s (though there are some i dislike such as go-bots and silverhawks). No nostalgia goggles here, i just see them as light sci-fi and action adventure. Also, i prefer the Jetsons to the Flintstones (I love the futuristic technology, and Mr. Spacely is a lot funnier than Mr. Slate IMO).

Do we have a thread for hated cartoons you like?
I liked both the Flintstones and the Jetsons, but the Flintstones had the advantage of not being brought back in the 80s for lower quality episodes.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."But The Jetsons also didn't have a two crappy live-action movies. They had a crappy animated movie instead!

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.- She Zow
- Beware The Bat Man
- Regular Show
- Classic Sponge Bob
- Jetsons(Before the 80's)
- Adventues Of Sonic The Hedgehog
- My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic
- Littlest Pet Shop
- Teen Titans Go
For anyone who says their taste is bad, just look at this, and you'll know i'm probably worse. Probably not.
You have pretty much the same taste as most of the people on this forum.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.He did say Classic Sponge Bob. Anybody who says they prefer the new Sponge Bob to the old would be called a heretic.
Post 31: True, true... But there was also The Jetsons Meet The Flintstones, which I liked also.
Any film that has nearly 40 writers, by the way, is doomed to suck.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Topic creator you are a good and sensible man with good tastes. Its the people who are contrary to you that don't have any tastes.
Ex: People who watch Mainly MTV and BET and the ONLY cartoon they know about is Family Guy and then use Adventure Time as a hipster move.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceAKA, the kind of people I hate more than anime whores. Well put and well played. BTW, I didn't know you were a fan of Littlest Pet Shop - then again, I do feel like the only guy who feels that show needs more love and support, sometimes... Or maybe I'm just crazy.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Not TRUUUULLY a fan, but I do like the atmosphere of it where it's suppose to be more realistic than "You know what". But it does become a bore afterwards.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI like Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and My Life as a Teenage Robot and can't quite get into Avatar: The Last Airbender (<3 Korra though), The Powerpuff Girls, or Adventure Time. I think that pretty much negates anything resembling credibility regarding my tastes.

On my wave, passing oooooooonI like the Powerpuff Girls, but not the other two you said you couldn't get into. The latter, mainly because I stopped watching CN when it premiered...
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."That's when you stopped watching CN? So you mean to tell me you sat through Johnny Test but not that?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.My Life As A Teenage Robot was much better than it looked, it may have seemed an Astro Boy/Powerpuff Girls rip off (and it was) but it also had homages to classic Pulp Sci Fi, old cartoons like Little Nemo in Slumberland, and surprisingly touching moments like in the final episode.

I never made a habit of watching it. I preferred Chowder and Flapjack.
I know what you mean. I liked that show...

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I know. It was created by one of the animators of Power Puff Girls and Dexters Laboratory, but it was suppose to have a style homaging Little Nemo.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceRob Renzetti worked on PPG? I knew he worked on Dexter, but wasn't aware of the other.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Seldomly, he did. But I guess that was very, VERY miniscule.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceYeah - My Life As A Teenage Robot had a lot of bad episodes that made it hard for me to take this show seriously, unlike Astro Boy (2003 - which while pretty damn good and entertaining, especially for a kids show, is not as awesome as the original black-and-white show, or its digital & in-color remastering of said original, made in 2000) or Powerpuff Girls, IMHO...
I really admired the brother dynamic between Brad and Tuck and wish more cartoon today would take advantage of it - argumentive/annoying sibling stereotypes like the ones that royally hurt and made Kick Buttowski (quite unpopular, and not just) for me really need to go, more than anything else regarding shows trying to emulate the real world!

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.I'll admit, a lot of the early episodes are really cheesy, but I don't mind it, and the show only got better as it went on.

Many people would agree with you on that. (I'd agree with you on the last five things.)
What I think the OP is talking about is going against the grain and liking things that many people don't - see my first post in this thread for a good example.
