My bet it that it was on Wikipedia. They always have images that have classical significance, but aren't exactly illustrative.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. The "classicness" of the painting works against it. I thought it was an angel. Actually, maybe it's supposed to be an angel, but they're not popularly known for messing with dreams. I thought (s)he was messing with real life stuff, not dream images.
, LOL on the fact that guessed correctly.
Anyway, what about this?
Might need to crop onto the spider, though.

Muchly weaver, lessly dream.
Check out my fanfiction! If you interpret the rainbow thing coming from the spider as something else, that is.
I don't know why anyone would interpret it as a dream. Current's definitely better, but I'm sure we can find SOMETHING.

"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerIt has to look good at Wiki size.
IE, the stuff in the weaved dream is hard to make out at Wiki size.
No, it's not.◊ It looks just fine. The real concerns are image height and whether it gets the point across.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer9 and 5 have both problems with the "dream" aspect to me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe surreal texture of the weaved item in 9 not giving you the clue?
That says it's mystical in some way, not necessarily dream. Definitely better than 5, though.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.As long as we're talking about the page, I can't help but think the quote on the Quotes page from Gary Wright's "Dream Weaver" is more apropos than current pagequote from The Chrodettes' "Mr. Sandman" (which is isn't even about dreams; the "dream" they're singing about is pretty obviously a euphemism for an attractive man).
Moon◊11 works well enough for me. I also agree that the current quote doesn't fit this trope well.
11 is great. That quote has got to go.
11 works for me.
11 doesn't illustrate the dream part at all to me. The face in the weave suggests that it's mystical, sure, but not dreams.
That said, the trope is simple and straightforward enough (and the image is good looking enough) that I still think it's an improvement. A weak +1 from me.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. What about this◊? It's a combined homage to The Sandman and What Dreams May Come.
Wouldn't say dream without the words, so I think it's weaker than one of the previous suggestions.
Check out my fanfiction!I was going to bring up this guy but I guess that's Dream Stealer.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Should put it on the Dream Stealer page, that needs an image.
Put that into Dream Stealer.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAlso, I think Dream Stealer needs an image.

The angel image kind of gets the point across, but I feel we could do better than this.
