The plot is about a group of tropers that are part of the wiki and are being killed off one by one. Now it is up to a group of dedicated tropers and role players to find this killer before more forum members are killed.

Simply it involves forum members teaming together to find who the killer is while suspecting everyone and each other. This is a poke at horror and slasher films like Scream or Friday The 13th with our own rules of horror films, tropes and jokes.

The kicker is that to sign up as the killer you need to privately PM me your motives for being the killer. The person with the best reasons and motives will be PMed back and the ones who didn't make it will get PMed with a message stating they didn't make it. It will be separate.

No one except me will know who the killer is, making this RPG a lot more strange and mysterious.

In regards to your character sign ups, you can play yourselves or create your own character. In other terms, your troper self, a completely new character, whatever you like. Just not any fictional characters.

It is best suggested to have at least two characters, in case you pick the option to have one of them killed off.

And please put the sign up sheets of your characters in this thread before PMing me their motives.

The world of the RP is basically a fictionalised, meta version of TV Tropes. So things can be a little weird.

• Gender: Male
• Appearance: Dark brown hair and eyes, Casual clothing.
• Personality: Nerdy and geeky, often anti-social but loves to talk about movies and tropes repeatedly, often making a lot of references.
• History: An obsessive troper whose taken on tropes like Genre Savvy and movies like Scream as ways of life. Jon dedicates himself to watching lots of film, tv, anime, games etc for fun. Upon finding out about these murders he becomes an Amateur Sleuth, hoping to use his film and trope knowledge to catch the killer in the act.

Rules:

• By no means is this a serious RP, so make sure to have fun and not take everything so seriously.
• There will be no criticism (hateful or constructive) against me or your fellow players, if you dislike it that some players are weaker writers than you, keep it to yourself. (Trust me on this rule, my last RP fell apart because of this)
• If any of you, in any way spoil who the killer is or even hint at it, you will be respectfully asked to leave this RP. Don't ruin the fun for the others.

Oh my god, a Scream-like RP? I'm interested.

• Name: Jackson Bates
• Age: 27
• Gender: female
• Appearance: Jack wears bright colours, usually tye-dye shirts, she often wears ripped up jeans and goes Barefoot or wears Sandals.
• Personality: Jack is a Happy-go Lucky stoner, who loves bands such as The Grateful Dead, In short, she is a Hippy and a flowerchild. However, Jack is also a bit of a deadpan snarker, often being sarcastic. She also hates Cars and loves old bands and rock artists, she is also suprisingly insightful at times.
• History: Jack was born to some rather insane parents who would starve and beat their child, however, at age fifteen, she was relocated to the Bates family, a group of people who, in a word, were stuck in the eighties. So, she became a flower child, She currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in psychology.

• Name: Rory Mcclintock.
• Age: 19.
• Gender: Male.
• Appearance: Rory is a kid just under six feet for height, he's not skinny, but he's not fat either. Rory is usually seen in ratty jeans and heavy metal band t-shirts. His hair is close cropped, almost a buzz cut, and he has glasses.
• Personality: Rory is a bit of an ass, he doesn't socialize very well, but the friends he makes he's fiercely loyal to. He loves to read, and jam out to his favorite bands.
• History: Nothing was out of place with Rory's childhood. His parent's were smartasses who raised him to be a smartass. His father taught him how to hunt, and he owns several firearms his father has gifted him over the years. Rory has trouble with girls, as in he doesn't talk with them and when he does, he's usually rude and brusque. This was caused by events throughout his school life that gave him a less than stellar opinion of the female population.

I think making a sign up sheet is easier than making others read through pages of a thread just to understand who you are.

... But, I don't really know how to describe myself to others.

I'm a little surprised though, I've only gotten one Pm from someone being the killer. I expected everyone would want that kind of power and opportunity.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Remove the straight jacket, drone, and lightsaber and you've got his appearance.

Personality: Thoughtful, likes to run ideas by people and when talking about the murderer would have no problem indicting himself, can't get sarcasm, strong sense of right and wrong, arrogant, smart, hates cussing, religious, logical, quick to point out that when people say 'wouldn't hurt a fly' people aren't flies, doesn't really care about people he hasn't emotionally attached to.

History:Took karate around 8, learned how to fire firearms and bows, rides horses, took a few years of physics and higher math, Played the MMFD Season 3 Roleplay as RM and the Overlord.

Age: 19

Appearance: Brown hair and brown eyes. Unshaven. Wears bagging clothing which hides his toned body.

Personality: Funny and loud, but can be quiet when it's appropriate. Has a rather addictive personality and has a near obsession with forum games. He's a big fan of Sherlock Holmes and much like the investigator himself can point out details that others can miss. Is a big fan of reading and is physically active (when he can get off of his lazy ass). Will flat out deny that he is the killer. Also likes to party. Hard.

Background: Your average Canadian college student. Is a walking book of trivia as he knows many things, none of it useful. He has always been an athletic type and has training in some combat sports.
