Well, there goes the hope that it'd be better than the DMC anime
I don't know. Looks pretty fine to me.
Watch SymphogearHmmm, looks good, but I'll reserve my judgment for after I see a couple of episodes. Honestly, I can't really say anything different from what the others have said; I hope that GONZO learned from the DMC anime, because I found the issue with that one was almost that they removed too much of Dante's character.
Relevant bits: It's a film, due out November 23. The staff is mostly the same as the Anime.X Men, of all things
Now this one looks worth checking out. It looks to follow the plot of the first game.
x3 Mad House did the DMC anime, not GONZO.
Atsuko Tanaka will voice Bayonetta.Sexy badass woman, her type of role as usual.
And Norio Wakamoto as Father Balder.
Can the awesomeness of Wakamoto save the anime from GONZO?

The awesomeness of Wakamoto didn't save Inukami from being mediocre.
Gonzo has made good stuff, but I don't think I've seen anything of theirs from later than ~2008.
Join my forum game!Afro Samurai Ressurection was released in 2009.
Blassreiter was pretty good, too, that was released in 2009.
The Witchblade aniem was released earlier, but that was also rather good.

Watch SymphogearMore Bayonetta is good Bayonetta right?
I don't know, I was hoping for some kind of continuation, not a retelling of the first game. It's fitting that the studio responsible for the DMC anime, which I never finished watching, is making the Bayonetta anime.
Still, if giving Dante any non-deity related conflict was hard, making one for Bayonetta is going to be darn impossible without depowering her. Maybe it's best that this is just a film and not a series.
I'm pleased to see them making an effort to keep Bayonetta alive.
Also, it's being directed by the same guy behind Basilisk.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).DMC:TAS was made by Mad House.
Bloody Fate is GONZO.
Aw, my expectations.
It would have been neat if that was the case. I mean, imagine the odds.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).It's also directed by the guy who did Afro Samurai.
And Gonzo made Blassreiter as well, which I think is highly underrated.
Watch SymphogearBlue Sub Six, Basilisk, Final Fantasy Unlimited, Gantz, Gravion, the ORIGINAL Hellsing, Samurai 7, Kiddy Grade, Trinity Blood...
Holy sh-.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Can't comment on the rest, but Samurai 7 was a bore for me. Seriously, a show that has Samurai fighting giant mecha shouldn't be putting me to sleep.
Hell. Yes.

Norio Wakamoto as Balder…? Okay, I know the guy is awesome, but I really can't imagine this character with his voice. ò.Ô Atsuko Tanaka as Bayonetta is perfect though. She has experience in voicing a sexy and slightly sadistic witch after all.
The studio isn't the one who made DMC, but you'd be forgiven for thinking it is, looking at the trailer. Not a big fan of the artstyle and animation.
But I guess I'll give it a check. Bayonetta's plot has potential after all. If things are explained a bit more clearly than in the game, it can be good.

The awesomeness of Wakamoto didn't save Inukami from being mediocre
Or save King Of Fighters 2001. If anything, "Loveable Igniz" made it slightly worse.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...So nobody's worried Bayo's going to seem a tad unlikable without a layer of gameplay mechanics?
Despite suffering from amnesia, she's an unflappable, Implacable Witch who's all curves and kinks from her head to her feet, talks in a sexy British accent, humiliates her opponents with erotic execution methods, and the only people who can match her verbally or physically are an equally Mary Sue-ish witch and Father Balder.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).… That's a risk indeed. Bayonetta isn't exactly the most sympathetic protagonist around, that's for sure.
However, if they keep the game's epic musics, I'm glad!
If they remove Fly Me To The Moon, there will be no circle of Hell safe enough for Gonzo to hide from me.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).
Yep, a Bayonetta anime has just been annouced.
Cand someone fix my spelling error in the thread title please?
