@Wryte: I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you and your family are doing okay.
Reaction Image RepositorySorry Wryte.
I've had a bit of a rough year familywise myself but it could definitely have been worse.
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.Oh dear, that sucks Wryte. I hope you and your family are doing fine.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Sorry Wryte.
Thanks, everyone. I'm coping. Humor's helped, and I've had a pretty good support system IRL to fall back on when I went dark online.
Anyway, in interest of getting the thread back on track:

This song needs more love.Sorryness++
Coincidently, my first (and only) fanfic attempt was abandoned after 3 chapters. But I didn't post it on Fimfic, so at least people won't be disappointed.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@Wryte: I'm really sorry to hear that. Losing someone you love is never easy, but I can't even imagine what it's like to lose a parent.
I'm not good with emotion. So...
*Hugs tightly*
What is Scoots doing?
No! Don't tease muffin horse!
Pears.
Oh, look, an applebook.
Post of the Day #1595
Have a funny fat Pinkie in the meantime.
And instead we get stories about Applejack being Best Pony and fixing other ponies' problems.
For some reason I flashed back to a series where Trixie (still under aftereffects of the Alicorn Amulet) put together a crew to get revenge on the Mane Six and AJ was the only one to get straight-up beaten down (to be fair, by The Brute/Enigmatic Minion who got pulled in for precisely that purpose). Now I keep waiting for him to come back because I know she's going to want to redeem herself (admittedly I keep waiting for anything involving that series).
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty. It occurs to me that AJ is not often put in situations that challenge her physical abilities or at least not lately. I mean putting aside how her hind legs are probably super buff, it would be interesting to see her get into an apple bucking challenge or something with someone of equal ability.

This song needs more love."Buckball Season" had a bit of that. Before she got worfed again.
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.I think that was an issue of skill more than strength. Similar to why Fluttershy was superior to Rainbow Dash in the air, when otherwise that would, like, never be the case.
Yeah, I don't know if I'd call that being worfed exactly. AJ is extremely strong, but that doesn't necessarily equate to being the best at a particular sport. It's easy to believe that Pinkie could be more mobile.
Reaction Image RepositoryI remember that Pinkie's style of buckball involved using pretty much any part of her body than just her back legs to hit the ball, which means that she had an advantage of being able to hit the ball from any direction. Applejack's style, on the other hand, meant that, for example, she would need to turn around to kick it if she was facing forward when the ball came at her.

OOC: Buckball? What's that? ...Ah, it's later in season 6. I'm only on episode 10.
Don't worry about spoiling things for me here. I figured I would be spoiled on a few things given how far behind I am.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Who's the pony in the lizard costume?
I'm so sorry to hear that, Wryte.
