Or they simply didn't realize how dangerous things were, and just thought "Hey, flying is tough, this is fun." And weren't thinking long term.

Or all their families and friends were in that group.

I think they're just frivolous and weren't thinking about their other families and friends.

Their mooching behavior and manipulative attitude didn't incline me towards charitable interpretations.

The problem is that they were all like that, except for the one main one.

I don't mind the episode as a whole, it's mostly the end that really bugs me and makes it one of my least favorites. The rest is all just minor gripes.

My personal take is that Seabreeze was the older, more experienced breezie while the rest of them were younger and more inclined to screw around.

I like the episode, though mostly focusing in it for what it meant for Fluttershy. I thought Fluttershy's "key" episode would be one of the most difficult because she almost never struggles with being kind (except when it's relevant to the plot, of course). Here the lesson was much more nuanced then other key elements who all sort of forgot a crucial part about what their element means. Fluttershy never forgot or had to compromise her element, but she had to learn when there where times when "being nice" wasn't necessarily synonymous with "doing the right thing".

From that aspect, I really enjoyed it.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...

Sort of like how, in "Pinkie Pride", Pinkie let her pride of being the best party-thrower get in the way of ensuring that Rainbow Dash actually had fun.

Pinkie learned that she needs to keep in mind the laughter of others as well as her own

Rarity learned that generosity needn't be repayed, otherwise its no longer generosity

Applejack learned that honesty is needed lest dishonesty lead to trouble

Fluttershy learned that the ultimate kindness is doing what's best for others, even if they don't like it

Rainbow Dash learned that loyalty to others takes precedence over loyalty to yourself

Twilight learned that friendship is magic

She's going to be so embarrassed to see those five years down the line. There is no escape from the curse of teenaged fashion choices.

My phase in high school was sweatpants, plain grey shirts (which I still like) and a bandanna around my neck. I also had a Hime Cut except I wore the long part in twintails that I clipped the ends of to the side of my head (I called them muskox horns).

My goth phase was middle school. By high school I was jeans and a t-shirt, or a dress in the spring if I really felt like it.

I don't think I've gone through a phase in high school. Unless you count being socially awkward and depressed a phase.

My phase has always just been whatever t-shirts I have around. The most elaborate I ever get fashion wise is when I throw a button up shirt over another shirt. That's just for when I feel super classy.

I'm just blue jeans and t-shirts xD

Also back on Netflix, watching Best Night ever before I take a break from pony for the night.

Always Jeans, T-Shirt, Hoodie for me, all through middle and high school. And nerd and weeb trash stuff everywhere on me as well.

High school was graet.
