Aye, not seeing the trope there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanJAFAAC, pull it.
It's not even an example. Pull.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Actually, it is. Rod Serling is listed as an example on the trope page.
But it's not one, even if it's on the page. Twilight Zone was an anthology show, and those were, at that time, generally hosted (intro and outro) by the producer or creator, rather than an actor playing a part. Alfred Hitchcock did the same thing. So did Walt Disney.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Clock is set.
But as the example points out, The Twilight Zone itself wasn't going to be one of those until the gag cameo. So one could argue it still is an example.
Anyway, I don't really mind cutting either way.
Vote for pull.
Do we really need an image for this page, though? Not sure this is even possible to illustrate without caption
Maybe a stacked image of Kevin Smith directing◊ and Kevin Smith◊ as Silent Bob?
That said, I lean towards no image. Just throwing it out there in case someone likes it.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. What's the second image supposed to indicate, though? For me it just looks like he's hanging out eating fast food with someone else
He's a character in the second.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. It doesn't really show that he's supposed to be a movie character though. The scene doesn't look like it's a movie scene at all. And even so, there's no indication that the movie he appeared in is something he created.
Clock's up; we've got enough consensus to pull the pic, so it's gone and the page is tagged. Locking up.
This is a quintessential example of JAFAAC. It's just a guy... and a caption.
