Suggestion: Toilet Humour

Okay, this one needs an image, and obviously one that's both safe for work and in good humor. Obviously, there is so much we can do with this, but I'm going to suggest this. [1]◊ I think this is pretty funny, what with the Puns and all.

Eh, I am tepid on it.

The Flushing Meadows◊ from The Simpsons?

I like that more.

While I do like the Simpsons image better, does it actually illustrate the Toilet Humor trope, especially if the viewer isn't familiar with the show (however they manage to pull that off... )?

I'm not really keen about either of those. When I saw the thread, the first thing I thought of was this.

That would be a bit difficult to compress into a page image though, I'd think, even if you cut off the first few panels.

I like The Simpsons image.

I was mainly thinking of the 4th panel, possibly with the 3rd as establishing the context. We've used 2-panel QC pics before, all it would take is some tweaking of the speech balloons to make them legible at wiki size.

That could work, though I'm not sure either way whether panel 3 adds more context than the noises and the green fog of the last panel.

I think just the last panel could work if nothing better came along.

It's not as sleek as rodney or someone else with Photoshop could do, but here's a take. I can make the speech bubbles a little bigger but not much so.

The Simpsons pic looks like some kind of weird dream...it's a pun on the trope title rather than a straight example. Also, it's not listed as an example.

One more bump for votes...one in the green but it's not quite at a calling ratio.

Seven or eight people is not enough people for a true reflection of consensus. Way too early to call. Also, the Simpson's image barely in the lead is of very poor quality, and not particularly funny enough to overcome its non-illustrative nature. The lactose-intolerant thing is distinctly better on all those fronts.

Not sure what is going on here, but it is clearly not resulting in a good pick. Is it a bias in favor of Simpsons? Is there some sort of rush to get it done that is resulting in fewer, poorer candidate images? Are the IP regulars getting a little burnt out?
