A NYC Comics Shop hosted a gay X-Men themed wedding. We may have more luck with other comicbook or themed weddings. The link has other pics, the one below is from Vanity Fair.
Here's some crossdressing Cosplayers, though that may not be sufficiently indicative.
And this next one may be my favorite of the bunch.

I like the first one, the Marvel logo (or what you can see of it) helps the context.
I'm baffled how a man being carried by sailors in what appears to be a production number has no gay connotations. But whatever. :)
The Marvel ones are definitely better than no image. I would be fine with that for now.

Marvel is OK for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman^^ There is quite a big gap between "several, specific connotations" and "no connotations whatsoever".
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I don't mind the NY wedding one though it's not the most indicative one if I had to look and guess.
I'm reminded of the nostalgia chick video about how poplar Disney is with gays.
I somewhat like these as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI like those as well.
Here's one from the Marvel Wedding with clearer logos.
I think that's the one. Pretty good for now, I'd say.
Anyone else on Marvel vs Disney?
I think 33.1 is best so far. The 'marvel' in marvel is too tiny and what the heck is time lords?
The only gay in disney is the rainbow colored word gay.

The Time Lords image is good, way better than the Disney or Marvel ones IMO. It is only missing that one detail, which the caption can cover fine.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. At the moment, my favorites are either 27.2 or 35, with 35 having a slight lead in my mind.
My reasoning is that it's a gay wedding and the background images make it pretty clear that they're emulating or cosplaying characters from Marvel comics.
It has its negatives (the wedding part could be clearer, for one thing), but it does illustrate the trope and so I think it's a bit better than no image.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMIf the title was "Queers Dig Doctor Who?" we'd still need to explain what that is.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like the image in post 35 the best so far.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI feel I should point out that "Doctor Who" does not generally include a question mark, because it's not a question (usually). When it does include a question mark, that's a parody of the title.
For those who don't know the show, "The Doctor" is a Time Lord, an alien who is over 900 years old and who can "regenerate" into a new body when he "dies" (in the original series, this was supposed to be limited to 12 regenerations. No word yet on whether this is still canon in the new series).
Because his real name is alien (and presumably all but unpronounceable to humans), he adopted the pseudonym "Doctor John Smith", but tended to ask people to just call him "the Doctor" which prompted some to ask "Doctor Who?" which became his out-of-universe name, hence "Doctor Who" without the question mark is the name of the series and "The Doctor" is the only known name of the character.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMYes but does it fit into a caption?
Clock is set.
Shall we crowner this?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIndeed we shall.
One of the Marvel wedding pics was mistakenly put under Disney Wedding so I fixed it.
Thanks!
I 'ed the "Disney wedding" and "Queers dig Time Lords".

@Paws: The problem is that none of that is actually evident in the image. Someone who isn't aware of what it's from is just going to see some due being carried by sailors with no LGBT implications.
