… Speaking of Santa (2 pages ago, yeah ), if he was at Mahora in 2003, he might have known some of Negima's characters… although I guess it's unlikely since boys and girls are separated…

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. He wasn't in Mahora in 2003. That was his memories messed up.
But it is possible he is related to Makie seeing his last name is Sasaki.
Even if they weren't he wouldn't get to hang out with the cool kids.
… Ah yeah, Sayoko was already dead when he met her, I had forgotten. —'.`—

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Holder should just give up on dates and just say "And then some shit happened a while back". Still better then forced and artificial tie-ins to Negima I guess.
So, uh...spoilers I guess? I dunno, Hata just said Mana with no further elaboration.

...kills the Marvel Universe?
...eats sugar?
...has the heart of a small boy, she keeps it a jar on her desk?
...wants to be the very best, like no one ever was?
...confirmed for UQ Holder-spawn's mom? (that'd be amazing)
Nous restons ici.More details from ANB's site. Basically more bath shenanigans, Touta still asserting that Kuro's holding back on him, and suddenly Mana.
Consider me legitimately surprised, what with how the rest of 3A have been missing since, but I'll need to see the chapter myself to better judge it.
Well, I called Mana long ago. She's one of the few 3-Aers who should still be alive, after all. This keeps proving this series can't survive without periodic visits to the Negima well, though.
There was no escaping the Negima shadow the moment Akamatsu made Fate the big bad and Negi the objective of Touta's training. Might as well embrace it and accept this series will never have its own identity.
Six months ago, this development would have made me happy, but even having someone from Negima (Eva is functionally gone, and I never cared for Fate) appear just doesn't do it for me. There's no real point for me to feel anything from it since she's still showing up with a back drop that I dislike in almost every appreciable aspect. Hell, having someone appear at all at this point disappoints me, since they'll still end up overshadowed by that thing people call a protagonist.

The Negima cast worked because it was an ensemble; it was the sum of its parts that made it great, more than the separate individuals by themselves. So, when they show up deprived of the rest of characters they interacted with, transplanted into a new setting with characters they barely interact with anyway (Eva, for instance, pretty much only interacts with Touta and Karin WHEN she shows up, and Fate came back, did his thing and exited just as quickly. Tsukuyomi was only in for like three panels), they feel like badly tacked on pieces that don't work like they used with. It's like Star Trek Generations. Kirk comes in and does a badly done death as a guest in another cast's movie (although I am perhaps offending the TNG cast by comparing them to UQ's), but since it's Kirk without Spock and Mc Coy and he's only there so the movie can shout at us PASSING OF THE TORCH PASSING OF THE TORCH, it just doesn't work.
Mana without Kaede will most likely be like Evangeline without Chachamaru.

Well, at least she isn't dead, so there's the slim potential Al and some of the other's (Chacha could be cooked though, given that her artifact is out of her hands) didn't get nuked when Negi stormed off against the Lifemaker. So there's a slim chance Negi might not be possessed by him, but I'm not holding my breath.

Mana and Kaede were only a thing for 1 fight and 1 comedy chapter, they never had any other interaction in the series.
EDIT: Ooops, misread that.

That's still a fair bit considering neither had exactly a metric ton of panel time or development.
Mana was the most detached member of 3-A as far as group dynamics go, so she's probably among the few members there who could work without the others around. I do hope she mentions something about them in one way or another, but its best to assume the worst in Holder.

Eh, no, I'd say the most detached one was Zazie, who also has a fair chance of showing up in UQ Holder.
Well With Mana around there is a chance to see Poyo.
the loss of 3A (with some elected) is good and why this bunch of dumb schoolgirls were NOT “relevant persons” (again, exceptions)”
Behold, Seimei reaching all new lows.
I'd probably would be a little perturbed if he wasn't a giant hypocrite in conduct, but how he can sort of get away with outright insulting people is a bit more groan worthy.
But I've said my piece. I half want to believe he's just ranting on and on trying to get a rise out of people, but its better to ignore it then listen to the same wall of text he leaves every time he posts. We already know he hates Negima anyway.
Come to think about it, what if this is just another recycled character design, like Jinbei to Nagi or Karin to Madoka, instead of the genuine article?
It coming at the end of a chapter makes me suspect its the real deal, but hm. Its something to thnk about. I don't think he'd go through with something like that, even if its effectively the opposite of what he did with Eva.
EDIT: Pic leaked. Man, its weird to think that going 100% CGI would make her look that...odd. No real doubt that its her though.

Chapter's out now.
I'm kinda impressed (and I guess should partially take back what I said two weeks ago) - the underground cavern trial was actually mentioned. I'll withhold comments about Mana until after the next chapter.
Well, it was actually an accidental kiss, but it was something she was pursuing on her own about as seriously as any timid fourteen year old with a crush. She also kissed him during Mahorafest, but Negi was the one who made a big deal about that.
