Guardians 2 is Warlock's best bet for making an appearance.
Having him show up out of nowhere with no prior introduction to the plot just to resolve the Infinity Gauntlet situation in Avengers 3 would be the Ass Pull to end all Ass Pulls. I think it's safe to say that if he doesn't appear in Guardians 2, he's not coming to the party.

Hmm, I agree. IIRC in Infinity Gauntlet even though an unknown party Silver Surfer vouches for Adamm Warlock due to being familiar with him I think. SO yeah Warlock should show up in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 or Avengers 2.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenI dunno. The Black Order seems pretty cool, but on the other hand I'd love to see Thanos curbstomp everyone in one big brawl at full power. If you get the Black Order involved then people are gonna divvy up fights and then when they do face Thanos they'll all be weaker.
If it helps you, the original Human Torch does show up in Captain America. During the Expo.◊
And the new Old-current Human Torch is there for the entire movie!
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."At the end of the battle with Thanos the Infinity Stones will go out of control, but Peter will take control of the energies by singing a song from his Awesome Mix

Honestly, I wouldn't be sad at all if they simply nixed Adam Warlock from the Infinity Gauntlet story. I found him to be completely uninteresting in the original story, which almost ruined it to me, as he is the protagonist. Good thing Thanos and Death were so great there.
At any rate, I doubt Warlock will alone be the main protagonist this time, so at last it is not a lost cause. There is no way Marvel Studios will not give more importance to the Avengers/Guardians than they had originally.

Adam Warlock was hardly the protagonist of Infinity Gauntet. If anything all he was was a general of the battle and made sure people watched themselves before Thanos used his powers.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenI came up with another nickname that Tony could use for the Guardians. Peter could be Peter Pan because he got kidnapped when he was young and flies around with jet boots.
Lol lol perfect.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenHe does have a pretty strong attachment to his childhood...
What were the other nicknames?
And if I claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that I don't know.Really? Becauswe to me it totally felt he was the main character. He was not doing everything, of course, but he was the center of the hero team. He leads them, and he wins the battle in the end. He felt like a protagonist, from where I was sitting. Which kinda blows as he is boring as hell.
Something that was missing in the film that I've seen brought up is Star Lord's Element Gun.
If the next film involves Peter meeting his dad I could see it making an appearance then. Alternatively however what if instead of the gun they give Peter actual Elemental Powers?
Maybe it comes from the alien race of his Filmverse Father (who is apparently not J'Son) or maybe its a side effect of holding on to the power stone? Or a mix of both.
Personally I prefer the gun since it fits better with his character, but I thought I'd at least throw this possibility out there.
I've only come up with two others, Rocket and Groot being Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Gamora could be called "Elphaba" because of her skin but idk what Drax could be. Big Mc Large Huge?
I think Tony would just call Gamora "the Green-Skinned Space Babe."

Fear is a superpower."Elphaba" doesn't seem like a reference Tony would make, much as I love Wicked.
"Witch of the West" seems more likely.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I hope Tony would be smart enough not to throw out Orion slave girl as a nickname for Gamora... or at least smart enough to try to limit her access to Earth pop culture.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpIt'd be amusing if Tony called Drax "Hulk Hogan" or "The Ultimate Warrior" or something.
Though I think Tony's role as The Nicknamer is a bit exaggerated.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Who did he give nicknames to in Avengers? Loki, Cap, and Banner, right?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."He doesn't really nickname people so much as he speaks entirely in sarcasm, and has a tendency to refer to people by whatever crosses his mind at the moment.
The main distinction between it and nicknaming is I doubt he'd use the same snide quip twice. For instance, he might call Hawkeye Robin Hood or something later down the line, but he's already used the Legolas line and so he'd think of it as a used joke, not a nickname.

I find it inane that they would show Thanos make an apperance but not Adam Warlock. If the third Avengers film is loosely based upon the "Infinity Gauntlet" storyline then it's only sensible that they have Adam Warlock show up.
Also probably (hopefully not) just me but the group from Infinity Cull Obsidian/Black Order should be shown as apart of Thanos's entourage when the time comes for him and the Avengers to clash.
