Yeah, I don't like the current. Here's my order of preference: Cft BL > Saucer Men > Giant > Current > King Kong > Mars People

I kinda like the Mars People pic, strictly because it's showing affection and not simply abduction, and I feel like the King Kong pic is in use on another page...might be wrong.
That said, I have no objection to the current...the complaint seems really nitpicky.
I don't think it's terribly nitpicky that the current is pretty misleading.
The trope is "Non-humanoids find Earth women attractive." The picture illustrates, at best, "human colony needs human women to reproduce." It's literally accurate, but unrelated to the actual trope.

I like the Mars People image if the trope is also about mutual relationships. It's less physical attraction and more mentally compatible individuals.
The Creature from the Black Lagoon one isn't bad either.

Check out my fanfiction!Yeah, that was poorly worded on my part.
But you have to admit, at best this is a Human Alien and again, it's very clearly not interested in the women romantically, but rather as a Stalker with a Test Tube.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Isn't Stalker with a Test Tube a valid overlap with this trope, though?
Check out my fanfiction! If it is, the description doesn't describe it. As-is, it's pretty clear it's about something wildly non-human pursuing human females because it's sexually attracted to them/in love with her.
If the definition gets expanded to fit that, I'd be less complain-y (though I still think a B-Movie poster of some sort is still better than the webcomic panel). Until then I'm strongly against current.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I don't think motivation is defining the trope. It's really about aliens or monsters stealing women because they're valuable and need protection, which gives motivation for the heroes to go rescue them and/or defeat the monsters. Why the antagonists do that isn't really relevant. It's just something to make them appear as threats without having to kill random people the audience doesn't care about anyway.
Check out my fanfiction!Having read many of the examples, I tend to agree with Willbyr on this. The trope seems to be about non-humans who either fall in love with a human or just plain want to breed with humans (ignoring the obvious complications). The Mars People pic seems to illustrate the trope well in that regard.
Can we make a case for using a composite of two pictures? Perhaps Creature above with Mars People below? This would illustrate both sides of the trope.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMI have never seen King Kong anywhere else.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCrowner's hooked. Can someone please check the link for 1.2 and update the description? I'm not where I can access it right now.
I feel like this has a bad name if it's primarily about affection and not abduction. At least it needs a misuse check.
If the Metal Slug example wins, I'd like to edit out the background.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. Here's the Mars People pic at wiki size and with as much of the extraneous stuff gone as I could do in Paint. Someone with more skill than I will have to tackle anything else.
EDIT: Gah, ninja'd while I was working on this...your version sacrifices size for crispness. Hmmmm...

I like 16 better.

Best of both, possibly? [1]◊
I like the Creature better though, I feel like the attacking monster version of the trope is very common.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like that. Crisp, and well visible at small size.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'll say it again - the problem with all of the options aside from the current and the Mars People pic is that all they clearly depict is abduction; there's no indication of preference/attraction/what have you, which is a key factor in the trope.
Honestly, I prefer the background-less version of the Mars People pic, all the other stuff clogs the image.

I like the version I made as well.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I think it looks weird with a white background, is all.
Check out my fanfiction!Again, I think the name evokes abduction more than attraction, though that's a TRS topic.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
The picture seems to be a literal interpretation, but the problem is that it looks like a human. Going from the picture, it seems like the woman is needed for a breeding program for an extended human expedition to Mars, while this trope is really about "monstrous beings love human women."
Here's a bunch of 50s B-Movie Posters that not only illustrate it, but convey the trope's history: Saucer Men◊ I like this one because it isn't from space, demonstrating that the trope doesn't have to be about aliens Ditto, but I don't like the art as much◊.
Mars People from Metal Slug?◊
King Kong?◊
