Harder than Mythic?

So, in Halo, we all know about Mythic. Legendary, All Skulls On, Solo. But could there be something even harder than Mythic? If you do think even Mythic could be put to shame by something else, tell all about it here. Maybe you could even try it out and say how it went?

Anyone got any ideas?

I heard stories about Marathon Infinity's (also from Bungie) Total Carnage difficulty that makes Halo look like a cakewalk, specifically the ACME Station vacuum level with the limited oxygen.

Very true. However, what I meant is, if there is a difficulty for Halo that is harder than Mythic.

If it's a Halo-specific question, you should have asked it in the Halo thread.

I myself actually liked the direction it was heading.

Just thought of one HTM (Harder than Mythic) difficulty for Halo (especially Halo 4):Forerunner difficulty.

• All Skulls
• Legendary
• Solo
• No Dying
• No Saving
• No high power/automatic weapons
• No grenades
• Only Jetpack is allowed
• Kill all enemies in the area unless there is an infinite number
• No Health packs
• No Vehicles unless they are needed for the mission

Halo: Anniversary has having Famine, Tough Luck, and Foreign skulls on, meaning you lose over 80% of your available ammo. Have fun.

Want to give Forerunner difficulty a try, then?

I'm about to try Forerunner. Wish me luck...

Serious Sam's "Mental" Difficulty comes to mind. (the one where enemies are half-invisible)

Also, everything is a bullet sponge and there's hundreds of enemies per level. Some levels have over a thousand. And some health packs spawn enemies.

are they Transparent, or you can only see their legs?

They... Blink. A few seconds of invis, then a few seconds of visibility.
