'Now i know you might be dissapointed young Hennry, but the guy who does play Batman is just as big a fan as you, in fact he wanted to play Batman so much he agreed to play Daredevil because Clooney poisoned the well (wait until 2003 to get the Daredevil one and... look less said about Clooney the better). He.. he just sacrificed so much more. '
Variety has been fucking up a lot lately with their WB-related stuff, so take this with a grain of salt. Doug Liman set to direct Justice League Dark.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."He'd definitely be a solid choice for a director. Also Alexandra Daddario as Zatanna please.
Problem is to avoid the execs f-ing things up with DC, more than finding talented directors.
I hope it is true. I love Justice League Dark.
I want to know who will play Zatanna.
My pick is Katie McGrath but she is currently playing Lena Luthor on Supergirl.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureNope. Zatanna is my fetish and her thighs aren't strong enough.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."My pick for the whole team is as follows: Matt Ryan for Constantine, he's just perfect. If they want a bigger star, I'd settle for Ewan Mc Gregor. Zooey Deschanel for Zatanna, or for a more unknown actress, I'd actually prefer Meghan Ory. Ron Perlman for Swamp Thing. Doug Jones for Deadman. Jude Law for Jason Blood/Etrigan.
The Justice League Dark are my favorite team in comics. I really hope this turns out well, though I'm still upset that Del Toro dropped out for Pacific Rim 2. He would've done an amazing job, but this Doug Liman fellow seems to have some pretty solid films under his belt so I'm optimistic.

"A king has no friends. Only subjects and enemies."That's not creepy at all.

Stephen De Knight did Spartacus. I'm sure he'll make an entertaining movie, if not a critically-acclaimed one.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Before del Toro left Pacific Rim he said he would still serve as a producer on Justice League Dark.
Edit* I wonder who the villain will be in Justice League Dark. Suicide Squad used the first villain Justice League Dark ever faced.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureAnd turned said villain into the DC equivalent of Malekith in the process.
All joking aside, Swamp Thing's nemesis Arcane Anton is always an option, albeit probably as the one responsible for unleashing whatever mystical threat will do the heavy hitting in the movie... and hopefully said threat will be more nuanced than "generic big monster". Cough
Why not Trigon?
Trigon is generally the enemy of the Teen Titans, since the team includes Raven, his daughter. As far as we know, Raven isn't a member of the JL Dark.
If the Titans series set in the DCEU rumor is true Trigon might be the villain in that series.
I remember that there was a rumor from a year ago that the Floronic Man was the villain.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureTrigon would be a better villain for a Titans film - or a Titans/JLD crossover. He certainly has the demon occult angle going for him, so while he'd certainly prove an appropriate thematic opponent, he's tied so closely into Raven's backstory and motivations that transplanting him into a story that doesn't somehow include Raven would seem wrong. That being said, I'd totally be down for Raven to join the JLD at some point in films or comics, she'd be a great fit.
Anton Arcane is certainly an option. I'd also say Doctor Destiny would be interesting, as they did fight him in the comics. Or Felix Faust.
"A king has no friends. Only subjects and enemies."Trigon is too big a threat for a first movie.
Keep in mind he's more powerful than Darkseid.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."The cosmology of these things is always so bloody convulated.
What is the DCU equivalent of Satan?
Trigon for what I get, sometimes darksaid dpepending of the writer is the "Big force of darkness"
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"If you want to get into Vertigo, however, you get Lucifer and the First of the Fallen, who is technically God's excised conscience.
Although Lucifer should be canon to the DC Universe because the Endless is canon to the DCU.
First of the Fallen debut in Hellblazer in 1991 two years before the Vertigo Imprint was created.
Also with Flashpoint they merged the DC, Vertigo, and Wildstorm universes.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure
I am all for in medias res, but I am not sure if anyone at Warner Bros ever sat down in order to figure out what said "res" looks like. Naturally can you start in the middle of a story, but it is kind of necessary to know what happened to bring the characters to this particular point.
