"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"Being single is my only option. I'm far too uncomfortable with myself to date. Appearance and emotionally.
I've been LOOKIN AT THIS STUPID GODDAMN KID FOR SO LONG and it's probably unrequited
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdBeing single is kinda awesome. I don't have to commit to something seriously and I can be my flirty self.
I can be flirty as well, which I love to, but I want to be flirty with my crush, all the time
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdHehe, I understand what you mean.

"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"I've basically sorta given up on everything
I want my crush to be my boyfriend for my birthday,,,, That's what I want
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdI want to be older and more comfortable so I can date. For now though, being single is fine with me.
I hate being single
someone please fix that
"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"Can't be me, for personal reasons.
I'm almost 17. I can't.
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdexcuses excuses
Daft we're still married by the state of China
remember?
"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"Golgo, I'm honestly not making excuses. I know you`re being silly, but I'm far too uncomfortable with myself personally to date. I'm sure you'll find someone great soon, though.
tbh actually getting into a relationship can be much more uncomfortable than being single, especially if you go into it with the mindset of being lonely and miserable because you're liable to put it on too high a pedestal and be unable to have a healthy relationship
you basically sabotage yourself and you end up even worse than before
kind of important to get your house in order at least a little so that doesn't happen

This.
When you're in that state of mind (which kinda describes my own situation since Graduation 7 months ago, really depends on the day), being single at least gives you logistical control and no feeling of obligation to keep up with anyone else all the time.
But commitment attaches guilt when you aren't trying to keep up and support your SO, and you have the factor in the negatives of your SO and try not to be bogged down by them, and when s/he lifts you up, you have to try not to take it for granted.
And then there's the logistics of sacrificing time and money to do all sorts of things and please all sorts of people you wouldn't need to deal with.
All these things are ridiculously difficult feats to pull off when one has low self-esteem.
And heaven help you if your crush has esteem issues as well.
Looks like I'm back in the club.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. Are you sad about it?
Well, sorry then.
//hugs deme//
You know, I bet your SO will regret it. I broke up with the best SO I've ever had and I regret it so much. We have no hard feelings toward each other - we never did. But still I just....... ahh.

Howdy, fellow singles!
