Area D

There's this awesome Manhwa called Area D, which is very much like Rising Stars. A bunch of people suddenly and randomly get empowered as a meteor fell, some of them lost themselves to their newfound strength and became criminals, others found other uses for their powers, and a few years of Fantastic Racism later, a penitentiary island was created to contain them. The story takes place there, mostly.

I am amazingly fond of Galder. I think that, if I were in his situation, that is exactly what I would do. Complete with my own theme song. No, it wouldn't have occurred to me, but it was absolutely charming. This guy's like a Lawful Good version of Deadpool, he's just adorable. I wish he survives. I also found it hilarious that the Mad Scientist refused to take on the role of supervillain, and instead decided to cut the interaction short lest he got caught in Galder's pace.

It was a good manga at the beginning but they focused too much on the bloody gary stu they have now as a main character. I swear I was groaning by chapter 80 whenever he said or did something. Seriously, everyone was glad to have fought him and saw him as such a manly man. All the gals had the hots for him. ETC. FUCK, that guy is the perfect definition of Black Hole sue.

Well, the manga ended and I can finally say sorry for the artist. Why he/she does always end up with so useless authors!? No,seriously, it showed promise but it ended as pure undiluted c*ap.
