...-facefaults-
I don't think you understood me >_> How do the duels work here? Who decides what cards we draw and how are those cards picked?

GIVE ME YOUR FACELet's just do it in the thread, I am horrible at using DN. Besides, it's more fun this way. Also, what would be the point of making the life points 4000 to shorten the duels if we were gonna play over DN anyway?
So yeah, I vote for option one. The usual way.

TV Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!Point: Why would we give a Number back? I mean, the whole point is that we're trying to collect them, and if someone loses, sucks to be them.
And Duel Ghouls actually duel, yes?

Let's just beat them up. They don't have numbers, there is no point in dueling them. I have a knife, we also have a giant Russian dude.

TV Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!I vote thread.
Krika: That...seems kind of dickish. Just abandonin' someone 'cause they lost >_>
GIVE ME YOUR FACEAnd the only reason we aren't doing it to each other is pretty much safety in Numbers. Somewhere along this ride, there is almost certainly going to be enough party conflict that we'll end up doing some dueling against each other. It's sorta just how I assumed this was going to go. I mean, your character might think that way, but your Number almost certainly ain't gonna want to do that
There's also really no point in even doing this RP if we duel each other. There's seven of us, so if Evii also played we'd basically just have a standard 8-person 3-round tournament where seven characters die in just a few hours.
@lucky: Fighting the Duel Ghouls is definitely a possibility. The issue is that they tend to travel in large packs, so you want to avoid being overrun. Also, due to Khaos being a giant dick, once a D-Gazer has locked onto a target and sent the request for a duel, the Duel Disk automatically registers this as an acceptance of terms and starts up the duel.
@Krika: Intra-party conflict is something that's obviously going to happen, yes. If it gets to a point where people are actually dueling against each other in the party, Number theft is a possibility. However, duels involving more than two people mean that Numbers cannot be taken due to being able to split the damage between duelists.
But yeah, please try and avoid dueling one-on-one within the party if possible.

"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValSo... we just have to put a hand over the eye with the D-Gazer to walk by the horde without any trouble, is what you're saying?
I mean, party conflict is pretty bad, yes. I'm just saying that trying to help someone who lost isn't necessarily what think it's what someone would do in this situation, as well as that I'm am about 99% certain that there will be at least one player-on-player duel at some point.
Everyone gets a duel anchor!
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGOSo how difficult will the first few duels be? Easy, Medium, Hard? I'd prefer it if we were broke in softly.
GIVE ME YOUR FACECOME ON! GIVE US SOME FIRE FISTS!
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGOWe should probably ask the duelist what rank Number card he has. No sense taking a Number we can't use.
TV Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!Any Number is useful in the sense that we are actively collecting them.
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGOTrue, but it would be nice to have one we can use plus it would help choose who gets to duel.

TV Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!You wouldn't let Naoto fight someone who had a Rank 3, would you?
GIVE ME YOUR FACEI just figure, if you're gonna be risking your life in a duel have it be for a card you can use. If not, let someone else duel who can use that card.
TV Tropes Powers. Activate!!!!!So who wants to take on this sissy knight? I wonder what Number he has...
Edit: Also how are our hands determined? Random Number Generator?

GIVE ME YOUR FACEI feel that... my character and this guy have a lot in common.
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGO
Numbers can't just change hands like that unless they are unbound. Not bound. Whatever. That and the process of turning is immediate but drawn out. Also painful, but that's not relevant to the current discussion.
