Well, since it's your arc, you can do it.

About the CEO though, you can make her female. Do what you want with with him/her. smile

With the use of the uniforms to disguise themselves, they first raided the local Millennium corporation headquarters, got information from their CEO about where the bomb they're after is (on a bomber flying out of the country), then saddled up and raided the bomber. Now they've got their bomb, and they're heading back to Las Vegas to grab their pay and figure out what to do with their extra loot.

Yeah. They were, uh, technically paid to destroy the crate without looking inside, not bring the experimental bomb back. tongue

Wonder how Molly would react to them selling the bomb.

Would it be okay if Molly... Lets say... Hada problem with the idea?

Uh...no, I wouldn't? I mean, it's obviously not the most morally upright of possible choices when you have an experimental bomb that you don't even know what it does.

Well, they're not selling it. They're giving it back to the original owners for a reward.

Last I checked, at least. Did that change at some point?

[up][up]IIRC, the original proposal made to our valiant heroes was that they would be payed once they ensured the destruction of a crate that was stolen from a certain company's experimental weapons vault. The only thing they specified besides that was not to pry open the box, look inside it, or any other way try to find out its contents. They never specified anything else regarding it. It was implied that they wanted to make sure the contents were destroyed too, but not outright said by them.

...That's just IIRC.

Nobody's actually talked about what to do with the bomb itself in-game, so Felix just took the first opportunistic step.

Entrophy bombs are like the magical equivilent of a Nuke/antimater bomb....

Mixing massive amounts of magic, half chaotic, half order.... they create a magical explosion roughly the size of a nuke, however the effects are much worse, they kind of tend to damage space-time in the area for quite a while....

The stuff in the effected area becomes like silenthill/reverse world/what ever eledrich location have you.... and they cause a large boom in the dragon population in the area.

-Explaining since this would be known to most people, being a known wepon type, sorry-

I still feel like taking it apart won't actually set it off. :/

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.

It wont...

It is the magic equivilent of a nuke....

The only way to set it off is to detonate it on purpose, but that is not going to be something every one would know, just like how inactive nukes scare people.

...How exactly would she even know how it works? These aren't exactly common things to tinker with...

Nah, there not common to tinker with, but people that are very smart might know basic operation, just as how you might know basic nuke operation.

Thats not to say you could actualy work on one, just you understand what makes it work, if that makes sense.

Well, after a bit of finangling, I have finished my arc trailer. Keep in mind it was created before today's events.

Trailer!

Thaumy: Crap, I know this mark. I... I don't know why they'd build something like this, but we're going to find out...

-Panning shot of a train approaching a huge dome of hardened light-

Thaumy: Big Mountain, home of the brightest minds of our generation, drawn here to tackle the greatest technological challenges of this era.

-Pan across the Dome control room, Doctors Parsons, Byrons, Ananta, Shanor, Klein and Morbius working at their stations-

Morbius: We seek to create a new world, fueled with magic and guided by technology, for the benefit of all mankind.

Morbius: The hopes and dreams of the world soon become reality within the the electronic forges of Big Mountain.

-An areial pan of the entire facility, soon focussing on the central dome-

Morbius: The nucleus of this research is the Dome, a huge stone facility that held the labs of every science known to man, a place where no problem could not be solved, where no question could be answered.

-Return to main control room, all doctors working silently-

Morbius: Of course, as with all giant, isolated facilities dedicated to science, morality sometimes has to take a backseat...

-Several of the doctors look at Doctor Morbius-

Byrons: Pretty sure he's talking about you Ananta.

Ananta: Hey, that test subject was brainless when I got there!

-The control room erupts into argument-

Parsons: Do I have to remind you of "Let's build a better warbot!", Byrons?

Shanor: Sometimes I wish you'd shut up Parsons...

Klein: Gentlemen, gentlemen, quiet. As leader of this think-tank I-

Byrons: You are not the leader Klein, everyone here has equal standing!

-Morbius shifts the camera closer to himself, the arguments becoming a bit fainter in the background-

Morbius: ~Sigh~ Well... Good luck mercenaries.

-End card: "Legends of the Lost: The Forbidden Dome of Doctor Morbius!"-

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.

Because that's pretty much the plot of the Old World Blues DLC for Fallout: New Vegas. tongue
