Full theme song for the reboot
Some pretty neat animation. Hope the show proper has a similar kind of creativity.
It really weirds me out how the returning characters and new characters have totally different art styles, though.

Did they change their old phone alarm into a cell phone?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Interesting stylistically, but I have one nitpick: in the original intro, they indicated the girls' personalities with the theme song changing (a more heroic shift for blossom, a gentler one for bubbles, and an aggressive guitar part for buttercup). This new intro just tells you what they are instead which isn't as elegant in comparison.
I also feel that the intro, even with the cool visuals, shouldn't be as long as it is, but whatever.
I like the animation, but I don't really like...the song.
Also a 2 minute intro? They're totally gonna cut that down for actual episode airings.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Yeah I don't care much for the song itself either.

This one will be all 11-minute episodes, like all of CN's other shows, won't it?
Or will they give it a full half-hour?
In any case, 2 minutes for a theme is unthinkable.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."There's already a TV-edit version on Vimeo (scroll down till you find the Vimeo player). It jumps directly to the flashy music and title sequence.
Regarding the designs: I actually think Buttercup's little spikes in the back of her head is an improvement and I like that Bubbles' scrunchies are now visible. Bubbles' pigtails being higher on her head and Blossom's bow being rounder is fine too.
Regarding the clip: definitely feels like the old show.
Regarding the intro: odd style but I love the animation and the song is fine.
Not a fan of that opening. It's nice that they kept the original origin story bits, albeit updated, but the song it out of place. Granted it may be nostalgia talking but do we really need a nearly two minute long song about girl power? It just feels forced compared to the original theme which is just fine.
the actual tv intro probably isn't going to be 2 minutes; someone already mentioned that there's a tv edit up.
a slight nitpick on the intro for me: it seems like they're slightly retconning the PPG's origin. in the new intro, Utonium clearly accidentally breaks the Chemical X container on his own. in the original intro, it looks that way as well, until it was revealed in an episode that a pre-mutation Mojo Jojo pushed Utonium into the container.
also, not a fan of how the smoothed off almost all of Utonium's sharp angles in his design. the change seems unnecessary.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Well, who's to say that they will retcon it? Maybe it will be like it was in the original... but don't get your hopes up.
Also... "Girl power"? That's what this song is about?
Remember how Craig Mc Cracken hated that the PPG's merchandise was all targeted towards girls (with that whole "girl power" stuff)? Remember how he had the knockoff PPG say "Girl power!" (among other things) in "Knock It Off" as a Take That! to it?
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Did you not notice the huge stretches of the theme song devoted to talking about them as a family, school life, and role in the team? And the words "girl power" are never uttered from what I could hear.
Admittedly, I did watch the video... then I forgot the song because it didn't really connect with me and I didn't find it memorable compared to the original. So forgive me if I have lapses on what songs I can't remember are about.
Hopefully for the ending theme they bring back Bis' original tune... OK, it's wishful thinking.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I liked the music in the new theme, wasn't the biggest fan of the lyrics. Seemed a bit too on the nose. Even in the TV size version. The instrumental is fine, great even, but the lyrics are just eh.
Also, I don't understand why they felt the need to give Professor Utonium a maniacal laugh as he's mixing the ingredients. That just makes him seem creepier than he already might have seemed.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Apparently there was another ad for it, and guess what? The girls now have weird weird hologram powers to make weapons and stuff.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I think I ought to ask - how are they going to deal with Him?
Will they keep him the same old effeminate devil?
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."He looks like it from the bit in the advertisement I saw. Hell, I think his laugh sounded a bit like Tom Kane was still voicing him.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Oh really now? That doesn't sound like a certain other show, now does it?

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.You mean Steven Universe?
No, it's much different then that. Like, think of some weird anime aura thing that surrounds the characters, that's what it is.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?At least they're not willing to monkey with Him.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I mean, Him doesn't even look changed up in the slightest. Neither does Mojo, but I couldn't tell if he had the same voice (it was a montage of things going on).
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Exactly! It's some kind of Green Lantern stuff.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
Yeah, I always figured they got the idea for the name from Little Caesar's... And I saw the "Bet You Didn't Know" segments long before I saw any of "Collect Her", so that made it weird.
