There have been a few threads in the past, but no general thread.
Anyway, great show, big fan. Big enough fan to make this:
To this day, Him remains one of the most bizarrely creepy yet awesome villains in animation history. I always found it weird how his speech was animated differently than the other characters. I kind of consider Him to be the girls' worst nemesis, despite Mojo sort of taking that role more frequently.
Other villains I liked were the Rowdy Ruff Boys, Princess Warbucks, and The Gang Green Gang. As for my favorite powerpuff, Buttercup > Bubbles > Blossom. Blossom is just too bossy and Buttercup was badass.
I liked the show(my little sis LOVED it when she was little) until the movie came out...after the movie it wasn't really the same. Some of my favorite episodes was the debut rowdyruff one, the one where they switched bodies, Speed Demon(Him at his most awesome), the one with all the corny superheroes that couldn't beat the car guy, Major Man, and Meet the Beat Alls of course.

I'm zigzagged on Him. I always found him to be scary and he gave me nightmares as a kid. Dick Hardly was even worse.
I liked the Rowdyruff Boys because it was nice to see identical looking, evil counterparts to the girls (not to mention, gender inverted).'
I loved the Christmas Special and "The Boys are back in town."
Dick was mean but his power up form was kind of goofy and I can't help but feel like fans overrate the guy. He was probably the best one-shot villain though. And yeah the rowdyruff return one was pretty good, kind of clever how they played off their weakness.
I watched this show a lot when I was a kid but I don't remember a whole whole lot from it. Probably cause I stopped watching when I was 8 or 9, I think.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."I don't think fans like Dick Hardly that much. Dick has the reputation he has because he was the only villain who attempted to kill the girls. He was the only Complete Monster of the show too.
The collector guy gets my vote for the creepiest villain in the show.
I remember really liking this show as a kid. Last year, I got bored and decided to impulsively binge on the whole show front to back. Still holds up very well, in my opinion.
Someone wake me from this nightmare, I've become my darkest fear...I liked the show when I was younger. A year or so ago, I bought the 10-year-anniversary "true finale" to the series.
.....no me gusta :(
Graffiti. My. Page. due eet naoThat guy creeped me out too because he was able to trap the girls in the box. One could wonder what would have happened if the town didn't find the girls.
Oh, I also used to have a Bubbles plushie. (unashamed)
Graffiti. My. Page. due eet naoI used to have a t-shirt with them.
Personally, the villain I liked the most was Mojo Jojo because of his status as the Butt-Monkey/Chew Toy.

I don't think they'd have died of suffocation. It's somewhat debatable if they even need breathing, since they are just fine in outer space, and they even seriously considered living in the Moon once.
Ah, one of my favorite shows. Child Fearing was legendary.

Don't Press Your Luck too many times in life. You'll just get whammied. For some reason, I think they would have broken out another way.
Bubbles was my first cartoon crush when I was in Kindergarten. She was so cute!

"A Lady does not start fights but they can finish them"@Napoleon De Cheese: Them dying would do no good anyway. Rotting corpses don't make for mint collector's pieces.
Technically Him is the only villain to succeed in his scheme by the end of one episode. The Professor most certainly did pay for his eggs.

Was it implied in the movie that the girls and Mojo shared basically the same origin story? If that's true, I don't remember them addressing it in any of the episodes that came out afterword.
Graffiti. My. Page. due eet naoThe series also alluded to the girls and Mojo having a shared origin, with Mojo as the Professor's pet, although seen in a different way. It came in an episode where Mojo kidnapped Utonium and reminded him of his origin (which the absent minded Prof. had forgotten). IIRC, neither take outright contradicted the other, but they complemented each other.
Strange, though, that the girls and Mojo never discuss this with each other. It'd have made a good episode.
Graffiti. My. Page. due eet naoHas anyone seen the movie? I remember having to wait for it to come on TV because my parents weren't willing to pay for it. I heard it flopped hardly, but it was the first CN cartoon to have a movie to hit the theaters, so that's saying something.

I saw the film
"A Lady does not start fights but they can finish them"I have always liked the movie.
I am very surprised that a thread hasn't been started for this show.
Anyway, I remember being a huge fan of this show in my childhood. I even bought a lot of merchandise like wristwatches, tattoos, books, etc.
What do you guys think of the show and characters?
