Or maybe she acts like an obsessive nutcase because she's been repeatedly abandoned. It's almost like that's one of those things that can create a chicken/egg causality loop.

What I'm really getting at, though, is that when you look at her as a character rather than a metaphor for getting too attached to virtual characters, the dominant archetype on her becomes 'ex-girlfriend with attachment issues'. Which is something I'm less comfortable throughly demonizing.

That does make me feel better, actually. Kind of an after-the-fact Author's Saving Throw, but it's still nice.

After she killed him...that's sooo much better.

Nah, Gif being a nutcase definitely came first.

She was literally created as a nutcase.

Of all the things Gravity Falls left unresolved, this is the first time I've ever seen someone have an issue with how Giffany was handled, and it's certainly the last concern I'd have on my mind going through the show.

That Hyper/Devil Boner cameo was the cutest thing ever, and I knew Doug-Bay and Walter-Snyder would meet eventually but I'm so glad it happened like this.

All round good review, whilst I disagree with some of Nc's points I thought all of his jokes not only hit, but they were goddamn hilarious.

The Snyder and Bay film idea was really hilarious, I must say.

Though I take offense at Ash sawing off Pikachu's head. The latter would totally electrocute him before that happens.

Probably. I still find it freaking hilarious either way.

Even so, it just felt like another way for Doug Walker to try and anger all the Pokemon fans out there.

He didn't even say anything bad about the franchise and it's a joke that's been made before.

Bruce Campbell, who the Critic is a big fan of, vs Pokémon, whose fans he's been needling for months. Seems like an obvious joke.

Also the review itself made sense. When Freddy and Jason are going at it, it's great. When it's the kids...well, isn't half the fun of Friday the 13th seeing horrible people get killed?

Also, Critic, that guy directed Warriors of Virtue...unfortunately...but he also directed The Bride with White Hair, one of the more unusual classics of wuxia films. If anyone can made a compelling fight scene with two weirdos it's him.

People are still complaining about Pokémon jokes yet nobody complains about the Kingdom Hearts joke.

I saw in the Vessel comments that he chose the game people didn't like.

Re:coded's problem is that the plot is horribly pointless to the franchise's Myth Arc. It's actually a pretty fun game.

Just give me KH 3 and put the Avengers in it. No Robin Hood. No endless Nobody's. No rehashing old stuff from a card game. KH 3 - Avengers. You'll sell millions of copies.

Vessel is shutting down by the end of this month.
