Sensory Shock (Interest Check) (Sci-fi/Survival Horror/RPG hybrid)

I think for stuff like damage and hacking I'll use a dice roll system in congruence with stats. Like, the higher a stat, the more die I use.

I may be making this a bit too complex I fear....

A little bit of complexity isn't bad, just let us not delve into D&D's level of throwing dices. ^^

What's the maximum amount of stat points?

Very High.

Basically, I want these classes to be as balanced as possible. I may just eliminate stats entirely, as they may make it too complicated.

EDIT: Updated the OP with more character traits. Bear in mind that I'll be flexible with them, I will negotiate with you about your character, but your character has to intrigue me.

• Appearance:
• Personality: Is a very bubbly, effervescent woman, in contrast to her colleagues/rivals, but is one of the more brutal assassins out there.
• Strengths: Speed, Strength, Psy-Affinity
• Weaknesses: Health, Endurance, Cyber-Affinity
• Chosen Class: Assassin
• Quirks: Tends to babble a lot when under any amount of stress, no matter how miniscule.
• Intricacies: None.

Also, to anyone who cares, quirks and intricacies aren't set in stone, they're there for people who want to go the extra mile and make their characters stand out.

Possibly Norwegian.

I'll take any nationality, creed, ethnic background, orientation, whatever. Doesn't matter to me as long as the characters are interesting.

I realize this might border on cliche but here's my character.

• Name: Edith Patel
• Appearance:Brick brown wavy hair, often kept in a braid, short of height, pale peachy skin, slim of build, light brown eyed
• Personality:Mostly cynical and critical, often sarcastic and snarky. She finds joy in both the simple and the complex, opting for puzzles and reading as her hobbies. Having low self esteem causes her to compensate on her self image, and the image she puts out to the world.
• Strengths:Analytical, Perceptive, Quick Thinker
• Weaknesses:Lone Wolf, hard to work with, Smoker, low self-esteem
• Chosen Class: Technician
• Quirks: Uses to have a book in hands, she aids herself with her hands when she talks, refers to herself as one, mostly out of self deprciation but also to tick off whoever she's talking with, prefers non-tobaco cigarrettes.

Not bad, could use some tweaks here and there to give her a bit more depth and "bite" as I'd say, but she seems interesting to me.

Guys, feel free to spend time developing your characters, you don't have to present them now, there's still plenty of time.

Interest. Might make a Miles Glorious who runs on rule of irony, in the sense that things will always work against the crowd expectation. With mortality in the equation this could be rather interesting.

I am interested, but it seems like you have more than the ten required, so can I go on a backlist in case anyone drops out?

I haven't decided on who's going to actually BE in or not. This is just an interest check.

Philosophical themes. Also mindfuckery. Both are fun.

I mean like... what kinds of puzzles, exploration, types of guns, etc.

This plot IS on rails. This is a LINEAR NARRATIVE. I will permit exploration, but do not blow up the plot or do anything stupid.

By stupid I mean godmodding, generally being a nuisance, sue-ishness, no-selling, or the like.
