Not too bad.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanTook me a minute to get it. I assume the implication is that Donald's army deserted him?
Moon◊Yeah, and it's not Donald by the way. Someone from the McDuck clan, don't remember which one.

If we can make 5 fit, I say that. Otherwise, keep the current. 1 just... takes too long for me to see it.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. How's this? I kept the original borders but they can probably be squared off.

Not bad. His expression sells it pretty well.
I have a message from another time...5 is great.
The Order of the Stick (7) doesn't quite work for me as it relies too much on the text.
However, the current is not at all bad. I personally don't mind that it combines two pics, and the text is easy to read and it's quite brief.

I love the image in #5. #7 relies on too much text.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agencyn°5 is not bad, but as eedwardgrey 3 said, not sure it it'll be visible enough at 350 px.
I definitely don't approve of n°7 because the text font is too small and a chore to read, and as X Fllo said, it relies too much on the text.
And IMO, the current pic is very good, good balance between visual representation, and short text. So overall, this would be a lateral move at best. Also, whichever pic wins, I definitely support putting the other in Image Links.

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeI don't think #7 relies on text at all. If you remove the bubbles it would still make just as much sense as any other suggestion.
I don't think any of them is an improvement over the current, though.

Check out my fanfiction!Taking your argument in consideration and looking carefully at the pic again, I have to admit you're right. However, I still leave a strike against that pic, because the (bad IMO) art style makes the pic too crowded and it took me several seconds to realize what was happening. Both current and n°5 are clearer than it.

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori Yae5 slightly cropped and resized.
I think the main problem with that one is that the relevant person for the trope is the one not appearing in it.
Now that I agree with.
Check out my fanfiction!I am not sure what is going on in @7, and even if the text weren't necessary it distracts from the image. Voting nay on that.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI also think 7 is confusing. The Donald-like-Duck one isn't too bad but I wouldn't say that it's necessarily better than the current.
Sir Eider McDuck is apparently the name of the character in the current.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman+1 for 14.
5 cropped to wiki size in 14 looks better than I expected. Still, lateral move at best IMO, and great image to add to Image Links.
"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeWhat about the scene in Transformers of the soldiers running away from Scorponok?

That's not a Screw This, I'm Outta Here, that's a "Holy shit this thing just speared one of our friends and is right on our tails RUN!"
Clock is set.
I think I prefer the OOTS one. Shall we crowner this?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! There are a couple I think works. A crowner would be good, yes.
Check out my fanfiction!
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Id like to suggest this tapestry◊ from The Life And Times Of Scrooge Mc Duck as an alternative to the current, mostly because it needs only one image and no text to illustrate the trope.
