Periphery Demographic is unintended. This may be intended or unintended.
That's why I don't think it's a trope. A LGBT Periphery Demographic would be a legitimate subtrope (at least in my view), but we don't trope "just" demographics.
Looking at the examples and description, I think "unexpected demographic" seems to be the closest thing.
