Slashers vs U.S. Army

Perhaps it's a natural reaction? Really, you guys need to be thinking more outside the box.

Maybe it's you who needs to think out of the box more, since you seem railroaded of thinking on slasher movie terms. Which is okay if that's the way you want to run your in-fiction universe, but then don't pretend you care about the input of others when you ask for opinions on real world mechanics, only to then brush them aside, often quite roughly, as soon as they clash with the pre-set vision you have.

It is the likes of your such hostility that makes me brush aside help, for your mocking really gets to people, you know?

SF Slasher, ever since the start of this thread you've come across as being mad that everyone wasn't falling all over themselves to agree with you. Although you posed the question as what sounded like an honest X vs Y query, from your follow-up posts you've given the impression of looking for a confirmation of your idea instead, and that rubs some people the wrong way.

If you want to write a story about slashers vs the US Army in slasher film terms, go ahead, but don't act surprised if people don't want to play along... especially after asking for input on reality and then disregarding what you get in reply because it doesn't work with the story you want to tell.

Nobody's being hostile towards you in the Writer's Block thread, you know. Even ignoring the story critiques, that was some really good advice you got there. It stings a little bit, sure — I've been there — but I really think you should give it a chance rather than brushing it off. Especially since you asked for help in the first place.

Sledgehammer Killer may be physical, but he is still a spirit. Through just one movie, he got nailed between the legs, electrocuted, knifed, bludgeoned, beaten, cleavered, and gets his face smashed in with his own supernatural sledgehammer. And yet, not only does he survive, but he quickly heals with not so much as a scratch remaining. And again, he is a physical ghost.

And can someone please explain what the hell OBL actually stands for in this case?

I never actually insult their opinions either. Now, something like, "lol, your facts are retarded, go kill yourself," that is insulting their opinion and the person. Also, it was an honest question I asked him, not an insult.
