So I just finally beat the Hunter Prelims quest.
It got annoying cause my guys kept getting hit with the Sick status. I would cure them.....and then they'd get sick again, even if the spell wasn't cast.
At least I think so. After a while they got sick so often I just stopped trying to cure it.
I also had to spend some time reviving certain members of my group.
Well, I'm good for quests for now, so on with the plot.
One Strip! One Strip!The Cybers?
They are probably ordinary demons in IV's universe rather than Cyber Spirits. Though who knows for sure.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Still moving along.
Just rescued the three prisoners from the tower in Shinjuku park.....
Three prisoners....can't remember their names.....recognize Gabby.......hmmmm?
Damn. I just rescued Angels didn't I?
Meh. I'll probably end up fucking them up later anyway. Probably should have listened to that last dude though.
One Strip! One Strip!Asmodeus, Murmur, and Gemori are nobler than they seem, I'd wager...
Asmodeus was the most noble of the three. He was willing to let you go because he doesn't like to harm kids, and only goes into evil laughter when you refuse.
Also interesting thing to note is the voice for each masked prisoner. The one Walter feels bad for is Michael, making it ironic that he became Lucifer the one he supposedly defeated in the past.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I like to think that Asmodeus was Aeshma, posted to guard the Archangels by Mastema. Also, Aquila had one Law, one Neutral, and one Chaos companion.
Well, for a certain value of noble at least. He was still a rapist.
So before I get back to the main story, I decided to purchase some more DLC.
I picked up Undeworld Money Maker, Death has its Applications, Overlord Equipment, Snake Scale Equipment, and Radiant Equipment.
Since the former two are best done after Ikkebukuro (which I finished doing a while ago) and the latter three can be done anytime in the earlier game (which I'm obviously past) I figured it wouldn't hurt.
After I do these guys, back to the story.
One Strip! One Strip!I kinda feel like Underworld Money Maker is half-required, since Macca is in relatively short supply this game. It's still possible to scrape enough in from relics to not worry overmuch, but still, this is a series where Money Spider actually made sense and yet it's dropped.
I sure said that!Yeah. I'm pretty good for money. The truth is I hardly buy anything, so I usually have enough of what I need, which I mostly get through killing demons.
Now, Death Has Its Applications has been very useful. I was able to buy a buttload of new apps. In fact, I'm going to go back and get some more later.
I'll finally be able to get all the app points I need, and that's way too good.
I'll get a few more, then get back to the plot soon enough.
Edit: Forgot to mention, but I also got my hands on both of the demons available in the download quests, as well as the Overlord Armour. I'll collect more Life stones later (those things are always pretty easy to get) and then get the other two armours as well. I've been a school boy for way too long.

One Strip! One Strip! There's this one area where there's a ton of good relic spawns, but you have to sink a very large amount of money to get in in the first place.
I've been sticking with the Samurai outfit for a while.
Debating getting this.
Just killed Koga Saburo....I think that was his name.
Anyway, killed him to save my comrade, and now I gotta go meet with Tayama to get said Comrade back.
Also got the snake armour.
Now I'm going to do some random quests, and some new fusions, and then fuck shit up.
Nobody messes with Flynn.
One Strip! One Strip! You know killing Koga Saburo feels like a dick move, especially on the Law route as you end up killing the comrade anyways.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.......
Well, shouldn't have read that....
Ah fuck it. I'm already reading a buttload of spoilers on the game anyway.
Anyway, I'm doing the bad ending first, so no dick moves yet.
One Strip! One Strip! That's what you think. The bad ending may in fact be the most dickest of moves.
Double post:
Tried to do the 5th training exercise. But I spend more time healing myself then I do reflecting the demons attacks. It's annoying.
Also, got my first fusion accident after doing a few new fusions. Ended up with Tiloc instead of the demon I wanted.
How do the accidents work anyway? You just randomly have a chance to get the wrong demon when you fuse?

One Strip! One Strip!Fusion accidents happen at random, but there's a bit of rhyme and reason to them. For any demon, there's a 1/64 chance of an accident. However, each demon with 0 HP used in the fusion increases the chance by another 1/64 each, and using a Foul family demon doubles it. Thus, the maximum chance you have is around 1/11, with a Foul and both demons dead. There are, annoyingly, some demons obtainable only through fusion accident, of which I believe you've encountered two so far, Corpse and Kanseiteikun. As such, learning how to game the roulette is necessary if you want these demons (and they're pretty good).

I see.
Gonna have to be careful. Funny story. I missed some stuff in Ikkebukuro, including the teleported there, but I'm taking care of it now.
Also, I cheated and looked up how to do both training matches, so those are done.
One Strip! One Strip!Complete list of fusion accident-only demons (don't worry, none of them are really spoilers):
- Corpse- level 35
- Yoshitsune - level 36
- Lanling Wang - level 43
- Jeanne d'Arc - level 49
- Hagen - level 55
- Siegfried - level 61
- Kanseiteikun (the guy from the kidnapped child quest) - level 67
- Rama - level 74
- Tokisada - level 80
- Huang Di - level 86.
If you want these demons and have lots of spare cash, a good way to cheat at the roulette is to buy up all the demons within about three levels above the that's the "correct" result of the fusion. This dramatically increases the chance you'll get the accident demon.

I wonder exactly what kind of demons the Americans use. They were apparently superior to the ND Ds.
