She's actually fairly easy, I thought. Both of the alleged Climax Bosses were. The other will almost always waste one of his turns using a move that does near-literally nothing.

Okay, I think I have my three demons ready:

• Aztec Fire God with Heavy Tack. I cannot be assed to remember his name. It is impossible to pronounce anyway.
• Gogmagog with Tathlum Shot
• Holy Elephant immune to Pierce with his Blast Arrow.

And Flynn has his gun, which I am about to upgrade.

Yeah, she's screwed.

Xiutecuhtli is his name. Shee-OO-teh-COOT-lee is how it's pronounced, I'm pretty sure.

Well, on that note, with Asmodeus, Xiutecuhtli, and Throne, I think Pluto is pretty doomed.

He's weak to Ice...

That Illuyanka will do well, though, unless you fused him.

Yeah, Illuyanka is coming into play against Pluto.

Also, should I evolve my Tiamat into Ym?

@Handsome Rob: I'm pretty sure that if you have the demons already summoned the special fusion (or any fusion you search for) will use them and only use the compendium if you don't have them summoned.

Evolution is almost always good. Ym is level 68, so he should be at least somewhat above you at this point.

Also, Throne is just about to Evolve in two levels.

The Midtown-Reverse Hills area is crazy good for leveling up.

I wish I could afford the DLC. I want to complete the compendium.

Oh and while trying to get Chaos on my fifth playthrough I ended up Neutral. I found it interesting how Hugo points out that he was chosen by Gabby to be the Abbot. So she put a corrupt man whose only concern was power and mystic relics in charge.

All the better for her to manipulate, I guess.

By the way, anyone else find it weird how the Strange Journey bosses were demoted to Elite Mook? Okay, Asura was a Mini-Boss, but still.

Not really. I mean Horkos (before he was split into two beings) was already just another demon before Strange Journey, and this is a franchise where a guy like Metatron, the Voice of God, can go from being a high-level demon to a True Final Boss, then back again at the drop of a hat.

Given how closely the Seraphs and Metatron worked in previous games, I noticed only now that the four Seraphs showed up, and Metatron was nowhere to be found. There is a quest I know to find Enoch / the man who fused with an angel, but does it bode something that Metatron was not around during their scheme?

Very likely. There is some implications that that they are doing what they think the Lord wants. Having the voice be fusion only alludes to that.

Also interesting is that whether Metatron or Michael is ranked higher varies depending on the game.

Heck whether Michael actually is as strong as he is made out to be varies as well. Some games Lucifer is much more powerful and serves as a counterpart to Satan, who is also stronger than Michael.

Strangely Beelzebub is Satan's counterpart in Spiral Nemesis. They both are even ranked 20 compared to Lucifer and Michael's 0. Demons level up via ranking, its on the wiki for those who want to know.

I recall hearing some speculation that Satan may have gone off on his own after II, due to having gone from a Herald to a Fallen in more recent games.

No Satan was a Tyrant in the Japanese version of DDS and was still serving who he thought was his God, and likewise in Megami Tensei II and Majin Tensei I & II. He's a Law aligned ally in Spiral Nemesis despite being a Tyrant

Him being Chaos aligned doesn't change his service to God. Pluto seemed like a subsitute for him since he is a Tyrant in service to God.

Here I go - I just defeated Lilith, and I am about to head off to Camp Ichigaya. She briefly put Gogmagog to sleep, but that was no problem. She never even used Maziodyne or such, instead, it seemed she concentrated on Gun attacks, which was really ironic, given I was blasting her with a team mostly immune to such skills.

I followed a guide exactly, and I really hope I am gonna get Neutral.

Is this your first playthrough?

Yeah. I just got a really sweet grinding spot in Midtown / Reverse Hills, and now I found another one in Tsukiji Hongwanji.

Also, looks like Airavata is gonna Transform soon. Given I think he turns into Girimekhala, who has a bunch of Elemental Weaknesses, I am wondering if this is wise.

In that case, it's generally advised to do four playthroughs and save Neutral for last. Just so you know.

I still got a ways to go myself.

Like I said, I still haven't done anything but one or two challenge quests here and there after doing the military base.

So, Airavata to Girimekhala and Tiamat to Ym...

I am gonna have a lot of new Demons to play with soon.

Also, does Kaiwan evolve into anything?
