You get admonished by the First and they leave. Wait ten more minutes and they'll make the offer again. Repeat until you accept.

Huh, figures xD Would have been interesting if there had been permanent way to be unable to reset game.
:(
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThat really is the best way to end those runs.
I think I'm having trouble interpreting that comic.
Is it Frisk pulling through during the fight with Sans, overpowering the Chara's desire to Attack during Sans' fake-out Mercy attempt, and allowing Sans to kill Chara-Frisk, then doing a Reset to start over?
Yes
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...By the way, isn't Asgore in his battle a reference to Ganon from Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, with the trident, similar appearance and fire attacks?
Okay.
Then how is it sad? The ending implies that Frisk will either be a Pacifist and/or will leave the "game", which means Chara loses... right? Or does progressing to a certain point in a No Mercy Run still "taints" further playthroughs even if you never finish it?

It's more bittersweet than sad. Frisk successfully stopped Chara and undid all their murders, but still has to deal with the memory of them.
she her hers hOI!!! i'm tempeNot to mention "Still you, for now" is hella chock full of the forebodings and ominousness.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSpeaking of, I've just hit the Bad Time myself.
Di Immortales, the youtube vids made him look easier than he actually is. It's a lot harder in practice, it turns out.

Eraserhead?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI can see why you'd guess that now that I look at the scene again, but the reference aimed for is The Gainax Ending in End of Evangelion that gainaxed the gainax out of my gainax, and is arguably worse than Ereaserhead for some.

x5,x6: Oh I get it now.
: I don't get it.

You can check the answer that I covered with spoiler tags for the lulz in the post above. Further explanation is impossible as I did not get the ending from the original one either.

Either then I missed the hint, or I just din't get it? Or maybe nobody said anything about anything? I.. Don't remember anything about someone or something hinting at a better ending. The only thing I knew is that the game remembers what you do, and I thought that maybe there was a way to change how it ends... Especially because I din't want to fight Asgore.
Yeeeah... There's just a problem tho. I finished the game with the true ending, and I don't wanna go back to reset it to ruin everything again, as Flowey says...
As for formatting and what, I'm still learning the ropes about how this place works, so, yeah, until I get better at it, you're gonna see like a lot of screwed posts.. Sorry.(^_^;)
x5 Dunno what your talking about, I know little of Evangelion but to me it looks like an Papyrus apocalipse. Maybe he got 7 human souls?

...Eh?I actually got EOE and guessed a random other mind screwy thing to miss the point, comically.
I had no idea that Eraserhead was even somewhat a valid answer.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIn which Asgore is even worse at piano than sans or PAPYRUS
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaOh lord. It took me a while before I could hear the melody.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff. No worries, no worries. I'm used to people not understanding me. I can't understand myself either! Or more like, I don't really know how to explain myself... The language barrier doesn't help too.
Still, I'm just so much concerned about it because I regret killing Flowey, even if I hate him a lot, because it just wasn't the right thing to do. This is why I want to know how he would react if I went back and then spared him. He would probably call me "soft hearted" or what. But maybe the only thing to do is to go back and do it myself. Maybe then it'll stop bugging my head.
Also, about the hint or what, the fist time I befriended everyone, 'cept at the end, when Alphys runs away from me, instead of going back to check on her, I went forward to Asgore. Then, since I killed Flowey, no one has said any hint or what, IIRC. I only remember Sans calling to tell me how things are going and only that.
Also also, I wouldn't be here if I din't finish the game for real. I don't want myself to be spoilered of something! 'Cept the genocide route. I'll never do it.
OH GOD, MAKE HIM STOP! DX

...Eh?I wonder, does attacking the dummy count as a kill?
No regret shall pass over the threshold!
^^&^ I know that, but I'm referring to how trope page claims that only regular way of sparing him is no mercy run when its just not true :P
Anyway, btw, wondering about something again: Has anyone who has done genocide run actually said no to "Sell your souuuul" thing? :P I don't believe you can reset without doing so, but I'm kinda curious to know what the response is and if the question is just repeated if you wait long enough or if game/offer is gone for good xD I'd guess its "You'll come back" type of response?
