Do you really think it's gonna work and Atari will get rid of their once-Cash-Cow Franchise like Master of Orion for bubkes? As much as I'd love that to happen (can't say a bad thing about GalCiv 2), I think it won't be that easy.

As for Blood, is it Atari IP? IIRC, it was developed by Monolith, who are part of Warner Bros Interactive now, IIRC. Plus those guys have a nasty habit of killing their franchises around the third game in the series, either on purpose or by stupid development decisions. You really don't want Blood 3 after FEAR 3 and NOLF: Project Jack (or what was it called). ;)
