I'm not very knowledgable on DC (beyond Injustice, Arkham games, and years of amassing useless trivia) but I love Scribblenauts... hoo boy. A bio for every character? I'll probably get this, because I do love crazy crossovers.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse Alberia...Would ''Emperor'' count as an adejective?

Now's it's Shulk Time! Now I'm wondering if the generic Scribblenauts versions of public domain characters like Dracula or Zeus will be completely replaced by DC versions or if the two would coexist.

You guys like Let's Plays? You guys like shameless plugs? Well, come on down!It seems like the focus of the game is just on DC-related objects. You can get generic stuff that would be in the world, like cars, but from the looks of things this is more "Scribblenauts in the DCU" than it is "Scribblenauts including a bunch of stuff from the DCU".
My question is, why aren't you playing as Green Lantern in this game? Or at the very least, Maxwell with a Green Lantern power ring. Seriously, it's so obvious.
"Great Scott! Send in the Doomsday Squad!"Maxwell's notebook > green lantern ring
Actually I can't think of anything superpowers could do that isn't already doable in Unlimited.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."Because if you did that, everything would be glowy and green?
Not a big fan of DCU (heck, I don't really know much about it). As such, I'm probably going to sit this one out unless it offers a lot of improvements over Unlimited.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Forget "Emporer", imma see if "King" works.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!King was an adjective in the previous games (and a noun. "King King" was fun to make)
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Well, adjectives are confirmed, so I wouldn't be surprised if King returned.
The only thing I'm a little disappointed about is the fact that I know way more about Marvel than DC, so I'm probably not going to be able to go obscure enough to stump the dictionary.
I've come to the decision that I will always have a miniature version of Woozie Winks strapped to Maxwell's back when I play this game. Also he'll be an Indigo Lantern. Just because I can.
You guys like Let's Plays? You guys like shameless plugs? Well, come on down!A trailer was shown at E3 2013. And it is awesome.
A big army of heroes and villains fighting, and Lily being a Batman fangirl? Yes please.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"As someone who's read a ton of pre-new 52 DC comics, I'm definitely excited for this. I'm guessing the former. I'm probably going to spend the first few days just trying to spawn every character I know. I wonder if the 2000+ characters includes alternate versions of the same character or if it's 2000+ unique characters.
Is there any evidence for this? From what I've seen, it looks like you can still summon the same things you would be able to in the previous games. For example, they did "God" in a Gamespot preview/interview.

For we shall slay evil with logic...The North American release date has been announced, by the way.
I don't think I've ever been excited for a casual game before.
For we shall slay evil with logic...I hope they have the weirdest characters from Morrison's run of Doom Patrol. Like the Brotherhood of Dada, or Danny the Street.
Someone asks if all five Robins are in the game. Our developer thread smacks that question down. There are 10 Robins in the game! Damian Wayne, Bizarro Robin, Carrie Kelly, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Stephanie Brown, Red Robin pre-New 52, Red Robin post-New 52, and Earth 2 Robin.
Take that DC Comics! :P
This game is going to be freaking incredible.
Even without that, how many games let you have Aquaman fight William Shakespeare in space while both of them ride T-rexs?

He's the best member of the Justice League. He can do whatever the hell he wants.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"I'm most interested in trying out characters with more unique abilities and equipment, like Mirror Master and Ragman.
For we shall slay evil with logic...What about that person who has every superpower that you haven't thought of?
I thought that guy was Marvel?
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.Nah, he means Quiz from Morrison's Doom Patrol. It'll be awesome if they actually go that obscure.
For we shall slay evil with logic...
The new Scribblenauts-DC Comics crossover that we heard about has been officially announced. Looks awesome. The developers say that the game will feature over 2000 characters from the comics.
The IGN article covers the same basic things, but also notes how you can summon Mogo. I'm definitely getting this.
