having checked the first dubbed episodes,it's a funny coincidence that two of the people who are loyal to Satsuki(whose role is a bit similar to Lordgenome from the series' spiritual predecessor, when you think about it)have also voiced two of Lordgenome's generals:Inumuta is voiced by Cytomander and her butler Soroi is voiced by Guame(and also played Dayakka)
You thought the Hype was over, but you were wrong. Dead Wrong:

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.judging by the preview, the OVA will not be set after the end,is that right?
... But.. but Broketsu is dead... who is narrating, then?
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
His undying spirit, of course. Or nobody. Who knows?
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Look at how fabulous Ragyo is.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Turns out the OVA will essentially be Cooler Returns, with Senketsu being alive for no reason, everyone's characters being reverted to pre ending, Ryuko and Satsuki fighting Neo Ragyo for most of it before being swarmed by her clones when he's actually just a head now, and a Deus ex Machina ending where the two overload her Life Fiber Star despite having been visibly sucked dry.
Either that or it's them fighting Ragyo Soul.
@johnnysasaki But it was confirmed it be about Ryuuko graduating from the academy.
Dude, no one cares.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them. It's funny, that most of the well known anime blogs seem to be disappointed by this show, but the average person really enjoys it. Critical Dissonance maybe?
Since when does it matter what a blog or critic thinks of an anime?
It matters to the uninformed......
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."The Anime News Network crew loved the series a lot.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Read the review, this guy simply doesn't get it. The only point I'll give him is that the pacing can be disorienting to one's expectations, but if you just go with the flow and enjoy every instant for what it is, it's simply breathtaking.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Kill La Kill is not for everyone.
It's a very acquired taste honestly.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. It's very much not about it's plot but about the characters, which most good stories are about anyways.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.Eh. I liked this show, but I'm not gonna act like it's flawless. Lot of moments made me scratch my head in confusion.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. One of the main characters is a one-eyed talking uniform, what did you expect?

That's not really what I was referring to; I meant in terms of narrative structure and pacing, not the abstract things in the show itself.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Saying your confused by the show can mean many things now.
It's a very Japanese show. Definitely not something you want to suggest to newer anime fans. You need to have a grasp on Japanese culture, the Japanese language and a variety of old-school (sometimes obscure) anime and manga to get the full experience and to make sure a good chunk of the material and references don't fly over your head.
In fact, if you look at this on the surface, it is quite easy to get lost.
Looking to upgrade to park bench.Plus, there's a lot of fanservice to look past, and some people are just not willing to sit through shot after shot of Ryuko's bottom.

It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.
Guy guys, everything is canon after the finale. Remember the orgy.
