Watch nature documentaries on deep sea life, or on creatures that survive in any environment radically outside the normal range of human habitability.
Add me on Skype: Al Cook (darnpenguin)Also read lots of science fiction (books are more likely to include the real weirdies than TV shows - writers don't have to pay for special effects) and pay careful attention to the Starfish Alien page.
On both of those notes, Expedition and the documentary based on it, Alien Planet.

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableOk so I have an idea for my Spy Craft game. Basically the group finds themselves having to break into a city in the antaartic that has been shut down and closed from the outside world. What they don't know is that at this point we are no longer playing Spy Craft; we're playing Cthulhu Craft. The first sign of which is the city's watchdogs.
Heavily genetically modified orcas with post-growth expansive bio-mechanical grafts. Basically, horribly mutated Killer Whales that walk on land thanks to a hexapodal organic silicone chasis armed with sonic-based weaponry and heavy plasma rifles. The kicker? The Orcas, are piloted by a human being...whose fused to its spine.
Thoughts and suggestions for anything else I could do?
Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.Best way for me to do such things is to imagine setting or scenario where all those creatures would live in.
For example, let's say there is a place in the world where every creature lacks eyes, how would such ecosystem work like?
I second looking at deep sea life.
Nature is often much weirder than the monsters that show up in pop culture.
Here's a good place to get started.
Put me in motion, drink the potion, use the lotion, drain the ocean, cause commotion, fake devotion, entertain a notion, be Nova ScotianI'm assuming you're going for the "tentacle space monster" approach, but if you're trying to go for the the "existentialistly weird" approach, you might consider looking at the Persona series. Some of their critter designs are pretty trippy.
I think you mean 'existentially', or, if you mean that it is specifically weird from an existentialist perspective, 'existentialistically'.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any games and / or related material that can assist in creating bizarre alien life forms. Any information is much appreciated!
